Has anybody had any news regarding CIO activity today?

I've saw a caller that got nothing.

Even though it is not a holiday in NS today, since the CIO is a federal institution, they might be closed...

Hi All,

I have just received the sad new that 2174 occupation cap is reached. I've applied in mid July but I never heard anything back.

1. Does reaching the cap limit mean that they have have already replied to 1000 applicants? or still they are in the replying process?

2. If that's finished, and lets say they haven't yet processed my application. Will they refund back the application fees? Or are these non refundable regardless if the application is processed and rejected, or not processed because is a cap limit?

Checklist 9 says Proof of admission...Do i need to provide something...is it applicable to me??

After your application reached CIC, you need to wait for atleast 110-120 Days, to get payment charged.
So please don't panic or expect any revert before 120 days.
Wait for 120 days from application received date .

Means within 120 days CIC must have done the completeness check? Is that so?

1. My applicatoin is received on June 04th and tillnow my DD is not encashed. Is it mean that till now my application is not opened by CIC.
2. If My applicaton is opened, is it rejected. if yes by this time it would reached me, But not.
3. Is my application is reached to right place. infact it is received by GLEN and observed in SS many applications are received by GLEN.

Please answer to my questions.

Has anyone contacted the NDVO through the link they sent in the MR Letter, for updation on any changes to your current status. Just wondering how much time they take to respond to your email, if they do so? I sent them a message last night just thought would check with you lovely people, when to expect to hear from them.

You need to provide copy of your PGWP and Canadian student visa and stamp on passport when you landed in Canada to show that you are currently living in Canada lawfully.
