I applied under NOC 2173 and my application was received on June 18th 2014.Recently only I came to know that the form Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] was updated on June 17th.Is June 18th applicant with old form acceptable?Could you please tell me whether anything needs to be done.Thank you

It will work bcoz your sending date is < form updated data.

hey, ive a question my app reached june 18, im now just thinking and realized i left off an address i used to live at but it was for a couple of months howver the light bill still comes in my name there cuz the landlord asked me to let it stay awhile, will this affect my application? or do i inform my VO if i receive PER and before they do their checks? im freaked right now, what should i do?

If it was just a couple of months, don't think too much into this, else better to notify to CIC.

Sorry my bad Got PER on Sep 19th NOC 2281, yes the whole family got charged, can't figure out how to reply to your question doing it this way. One more thing I live in the U.A.E so I wrote my uae national id number instead of my Pakistani id number (completely forget I had one )hopefully this wouldn't cause any issue, let see

CIO cannot assess your roles for NOC 2281 against your claim. Without detail reference letter, you will get points for NOC 0013 only.

so in this case, if I'm applying for NOC 0013 only, how many points should I get for the work experience? Also, my point is that, in this case they won't give any points for other work experience since it is not match with the NOC I apply for, is this true?

CIC is also POS. they dont wihdraw money.. so limit is 100000

When CIC calls to enquire about the current / past employment, do they ask specifically for the person who has signed the letter or speak randomly to anyone? Appreciate a response from a member who may have received the call already...

hi guys still haven't got my IELTS result.......
IELTS exam date - 06/09/14
I e-mailed them and this is the reply from their side......

"We refer to your IELTS test of 6th Sep, 2014.

As part of the quality control procedures designed to protect the integrity and security of the IELTS test, test results are routinely analyzed before they are issued to candidates. Unfortunately, your result is still being processed so it has not been possible to analyze it yet. The analysis will be conducted when the processing of your result is completed. Test Report Forms will be issued on 3rd Oct 2014.

Please note that it is specified in the declaration signed by candidates on the application form that there may be occasions when it is necessary to issue a result more than 13 days after the test. Please accept our apologies for this delay.

what is completeness check?
I am June 13th applicant, has my apps already checked for completeness?

brother completeness check means that ur app is properly filled, u have submitted all the required documents, ur all documents are valid at time of receiving, ur all documents are either in English or French. ur job reference letter matches the points that are in the mentioned NOC for which u have applied, that is completeness check.

I don't know if ur app is checked or not, but when an app passes the completeness check, the cio deducts the payment, the applicant is issued a PER email and file is transferred to vo for further processing.

My application was just returned due to "Missing ORIGINAL ECA report". I sent a copy instead of the original (Argh!!).
Anyways, what is the right process send the application again??

Do i need to re-print all forms or send the same application they sent back with the original ECA report???

Hi friends!

I'm Aug. 5 applicant for the category 2241, I have also sent a photocopy of my ECA report to CIO. I haven't heard from them yet but I'm worried that they will send back my application. Is there anything I can do? can I send my original copy to CIO to add it to my file?

Ahmed, I had mentioned you will get points for NOC 2281 also, but subject to providing correct employment ref letters.
Hope I am right Century.

CanOl, the point is that, I applied ONLY for single NOC (0013). That's why I ask whether they will consider the non-relevant work experience or not.

brother it is not cic or cio who checks for job reference letter, its ur VO. also, it is not necessary that they call or email them. I know atlesat 12 people from 2013 applicants whose employers were not contacted for cross checking. yet vo can call, normally they contact through email. calling is less to occur except if the case looks doubtful or VO is in your own country like for indian members NDVO.

they call the concerned person and the concerned department and on the company telephone number, not initially on mobile phone.

Completeness check verifies that you have submitted complete application, no missing fields, complete set of the required documents (IELTS, WES, ..etc), they check your application against the documents checklist, you can verify yourself.

Most probably your application has be checked
