Rather than taking the highest, if CIO select the lowest score of the twos?

No, it is not acceptable. CLB denotes to only one exam and not multiple. If this were accepted, people may submit four IELTS results with 4 highest point in each modules.

Hi Seniors,

@ Oscar, Century, Ashif..

First of all thank you very much everyone for contributing to this lovely forum. With the kind of information that flows here, sooner or later all consultants will have to shut their shops :)

I have come across a very interesting question by one of my friend (not part of this forum so far)
He had taken IELTS and was not eligible because he scored 5.5 in writing. He took IELTS again, this time he scored 6.5 in writing but 5.5 in lisening.
Is there any chance that he can use both his results to apply ? I did not find any relevant positive or negative info on CIC. Kindly give your opinion.
Thanks.

At the stage of redirection, I get the message "This facility is not available for your area".
Please suggest

If you are calling from US, the try calling "1-888-242-2100", where exactly are you trying to call them?

Shouldn't be an issue, i called them from Delhi via my vodafone mobile and was able to get through. you sure you dialed the number starting 001 as is.. but mind me, there is a longgggggggggg wait time on the call, i had to keep my call up for 50mins before a human appeared ;)

You, terkukaiku, and aav - please work together. You all send e-mail to NDVO with justification and evidence. I am sure, they will concede.

So, please work together. PM both of them and plan when and what to send.

URGENT:

Does anyone know how flexible the Visa Offices are when they ask for your Police Certificate? At the end of August, the FBI police certificate was taking 22 days (according to their website). It seems now that they updated their IT system and it is now taking 8 to 10 weeks. Would be visa office be flexible? If it takes more than 8 weeks, it's the end of my application :-[

Please please let me know

Friends,

Am I the only one or are there ppl who submitted 20th May or before still waiting for PER? :(

quartz, don't start getting worried yet. It might take some time to get PER for most of them. I am a 21st May applicant, most of them on 21st received their PER by 9th September and I got it on 12th. I would recommend you to wait for a few more days without worrying, may be you should be getting it next week.

Just to clarify, I am applying to CPC-Ottawa. I have not updated the spread sheet yet, but would do so this evening.

I did not include letter from HR about my tenure and Designation but all required details are present on company letter head signed by my manager !!

If you are still working, please mention the same that you are still working from so and so date in your reference letter itself. Designation also you can mention in your reference letter, else we can both the information from your appointment letter and latest payslips. Hope you are including both.

Hello All,

I email for status inquiry to CIC and confirmation on RPRF received, but they said they are still assessing my file. Can someone let me know what kind of assessment take place after submitting Medical and RPRF both? As per my knowledge JOB assessment take place before medical.

Please assist.

Darsh
