Hi friends...

Now some of our friends have received MR and PP requests, let me know if anyone has sent Police certificates that are more than 3 months old.

I received PCC from USA on July 7th and 3 months time period ends on October 7th. I am May 12th applicant got my PER, still waiting to receive MR and PCC request from CPC-O. Does CPC-O accept PCC issued older than 3 months?
Thanks in advance.

I think there seems to be debate about this topic. It seems like they want PCC to be no more than 3 months old when submitting the application. However later it can be up 1 year old. (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/validity-of-police-clearance-certificate-t21690.0.html <- this is a bit dated/old though.) If you are not currently in the US, then I think they would not have a problem. Otherwise I am not sure.

You are a bit lucky. I was not in a hurry to apply for the FBI PCC because at the end of August they said they would take 22 days. Now once I applied they seemed to take 8 to 10 weeks. To make things works the VO asked for it yesterday, and gives me 60 days to provide it.

You are right. lets begin again.
I did my graduation in science from PU and considered 'canadian equivalency : bachelor's degree (three years) . then i did PGD in Journalism from bhartiya vidya Bhawan. and considered canadian equivalency : 'two years of Post secondary study at a non recognised institution'

the total summary says : Bachelor's degree (three years)

that means i will get the points for bachelors degree. But will CIC consider my study of PG diploma for immigration under NOC 1123 ?

education is counted for points. NOC eligibility is based on your job duties only.
For WES assessment Bachelor's degree (three years), you will get 21 points.

You send all your degrees, master degree credentials copy to CIC with your ECA report, if 21 points are sufficient for you to make 67 points..

Please Helpppppppppppppppppp

I am in a strange situation and I need your help.

I hired a consultant who is in Canada & I am suspecting that he is not dealing with my case properly and not providing me the updated information.

Is there any way so that I can contact New Delhi Visa Office directly and advise them to send any further information to my email id directly from now onwards??????? (It was a great mistake using my consultant's email id as the communication email id) :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Thanks in advance

I am wondering if you don't want to use that agent at all, trying to use this form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.pdf i.e. to cancel your representative authority.

Yes, it is important to cover the families of both you and spouse as it becomes a part of family tree for future.

My suggestion would be, go ahead and send another form filled properly and make a cover letter along mentioning your NOC, Date of Delivery, Tracking Number for package, Time Stamp with who receieved it and your complete details like NAME, DOB, EMAIL etc so they can replace the new forms :)

Best of luck, there is no harm in sending again :)

Guys,

I am startled to see this as it never occured to me that this form has to be filled seperately. Carelessness ofcourse :o I have two concerns here

1. In IMM 5406 they are telling that it has to be filled in both english and native language. Does this mean that I as the principal applicant have to complete two copies of the for i,e one in English and one in my native language? Similarly my wife also have to do the same?? (We dont have any other dependants)

2. Is there any other form which has to be filled separately by each applicants? (I and wife are the applicants)

But it's a long process. I have to again fill up this form to cancel his authority and send this to NDVO. Is there any way to communicate by email with NDVO?

Anyone got PER today?

I am not sure about your second question, but about your first I think it is OK. You are technically an employee of the contracting company, so if they can certify your job duties etc, it should be OK.

By the way, who is going to be the one in the contracting company providing you with the letter? At least get that persons name and number on the letter itself.

thanks dude..

Actually my second question was , In one of my experience letter, the manager name and details is not mentioned. But all other details such as work hours, salary, duties etc are there.. So will this be OK?

HELP HELP HELP!!!

I have been desperately waiting for my CC to be charged. I live in the USA and had provided an American Express Card number. I receive an e-mail from American Express that a fraud activity was reported to my card. I check the e-mail and it shows "CITIZENSHIP IMM FSW" It seems American Express blocked my card and did not approve the transaction. I have called the bank and removed the block.

My only concern is How do I contact CIC and ask them to charge my card again? I am a May 30th Applicant. I am not sure if CIC will attempt to charge my card again.

Any opnions? I am really worried.

That was probably the first attempt. CIC will try twice again within another couple weeks. Contact Amex immediately and ask them to allow the charge. Sometimes, the charge will go ahead as soon as the bank removes the hold.

Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
ü Call at – 0016139444000
ü Select 1 for English
ü Then 1 for foreign affair
ü 1 for immigration
ü Call is being transferred to CIC
ü Then 1 for English
ü 2 for status
ü 1 for PR
ü When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
ü Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

Does anyone know if it is possible for them to reject applications that did not use the most up to date forms? I didn't notice that some forms changed and my forms were ready since june.

Fearing the same issue, I contacted them numerous times to approve the transaction equaling XX Canadian amount

Sometimes the search on this thread post never works. I know a lot of fellow Friends asked about RPRF fee payment form and credit card option, but I cant find those post when I search on keywords. Strange !

Please, can someone tell me - where is the fee form for RPRF? CIC fee payment instruction guide states "IMM 5620", but this form only has check boxes for the initial processing fee, i.e. 550$ for each applicant. I dont think this form has RPRF section, i.e. 490$ per applicant

Can someone please guide me to the right place where I should be looking?
