I have one big issue, there is no place where i need to mention i have a currently valid work permit till 10th June ? Do you think should i be mentioning this anywhere may be a cover letter or should i not mention this and if i have to mention where should i do it ?

I have never worked on this permit and never used it.

CIC will know about this because if you have a work permit then you have a UCI number which you need to include on the generic form. So if this information is not requested anywhere, no need to add it, but CIC will see it in your records.

hello All,

I am applying on my own! no consultant and third party involved. but someone told me that i may need a lawyer in later stages?

You can apply on your own. You don't need a lawyer or consultant at any stage.

Dear Seniors
can pharmacists (M. Pharm) of manufacturing holding executive position (6 years exp.)apply for NOC 0911 (Manufacturing manager)?
Please reply asap

Check the NOC description. If your duties mostly match the duties as described in the NOC (including the lead statement), then you will qualify. Remember also that you only need 1 year of experience in your primary NOC, but can earn points for work in any NOC at skill type 0 or skill level A or B.

Hello all,

Please advise. My contract of employment states Project Manager, while my experience letter is IT Consultant matching NOC 2171 duties.

Is it fine if i submit my contract stating Project Manager with experience letter stating IT Consultant.

Yes, your title is irrelevant. What is necessary is that your duties match the NOC description as well as possible.

Dear Brothers,

As it is visible that few application has got rejected due to Reference letter issues and job descriptions. So could you gays please share some light on bellow situation.

Firstly I have got my reference letter in company letter head pad,got stamped, added up departmental heads visiting card, and added duties and responsibilities including time frame of work in different positions. About 60% of NOC job responsibilities are being covered in the letter as well.

I couldn't show the work hours per week in reference letter but provided my contract documents and promotion letters which indicates the working hour per week.

I wasn't able to show the salary in reference letter but my contract & promotion letter has it stated. Besides I also added three months salary slips from the accounts department in this regard.

In schedule 3 from I only was able to show some of the duties as there is very less spaces. I thought as the reference letter described the job duties and responsibilities it should be ok.

So now brothers please let me know your comments on this weather these are ok or not. Besides though I have asked the bellow question earlier in the forum but again asking as I am very anxious about it: Which is in Generic form 13c. I have written my spouse's given name in family name column and family name in given names column. Will it be a major mistake for rejection as in all other forms I have written the name properly

Waiting for replys brothers...

Hi

I am currently on open work permit based on my wife, who is a current full time student in a college. I am working in an IT company for past 2 months and have total contract of 6 months. I have just come from india in december and had 3 years experience in the same category. I have 2 questions:

1) Can i apply under category of arranged employment or is that category just for Closed work permit/Full time working candidates?

2) On CIC website it mentions that if you are in canada & have an arranged employment or working then i need not show required funds as mentioned on cic website. Is this true?

Thanks

Hi,

I have few questions regarding Generic Application Form IMM0008ENU_2D. Please help.

1) Country of Residence >> Status. Should I select "Permanent Resident" OR "Worker". I am living in Dubai since last 4.5 years and having Residence Visa (work permit) valid for 3 next years.

2) What should I entered Language Details for Child (9 months old)? Same as parents?

3) National ID for Child: As per Pakistani government rules, they just allot NIC Number to child and mention it on Passport as well but don't physicall give the National ID (NIC). Should I mention his NIC # or N/A?

4) Current Occupation: Should it be exact my current designation [Business Analyst] OR can I write like this Business Analyst (Information Technology) for more clarity?

1. Are you a permanent resident? Usually that means you are free to enter and leave without a visa. If you need your work visa to live in Dubai I suggest your status is work visa.

2. Yes.

3. To be sure I think some Pakistanis should reply. My take is that it is a national ID number so it should be entered in the space.

4. I would enter the primary NOC title, unless that is not your current occupation. If not I would enter whatever your job title is.
