Hi friends i need clarification about additional family information form IIM5406 E i have filled all details for me and my spouse required in English only signed by both on respective forms, but i forgot to gave names in native language will my application be rejected or what i can do to provide my details now if possible. My application already reached CIC office i do not have any reference number yet.
Kindly help if there is any way to short out my mistake.

My comapny is telling they will not give any letter mentioning "to whom it may concern" . Thek asked the title and organization address to mention at the letter ? My doubt will it be accepted if i give cic name, address in reference letter? If yes what would be right format i mean like below

My application reached on May 5th for 2173 but I left with bunch of questions. Can someone please help me answering these questions :
1- I just sent my experience letters, I got recommendation letters now. Should I send them right away to them or should wait to get some reply from them?
2- how many recommendation letters should I send? Would 2 per employer be a good number?
3- I didn't send police clearance. Till when I have time to send those?
4-. My wife haven't given ielts yet. Would it help in any way if she gets ielts score now and we send her result ? I have already sent my ielts and my total points are 73
5- same for her credential assessment. She's B.A. and B.Ed. Though I have sent my credential assessment.
5- When can I expect first communication from them, my application accepted or returning, reviewing or something like that? Do they send mail or email ?

Please help to get clarifying my doubts. In return, I promise to follow this thread now and will answer others' questions with my best.

1. You can only send additional documents if it is requested.
2. If you must send recommendation letter(s), its not the no. that matters but the content. Your letter must capture all the key activities as described on the NOC job description.
3. Police clearance will be requested by your visa office if your application is going to be processed.
4. Your wife can go ahead to get the IELTS, it will give additional 5 points if you need to send in a fresh application
5. Her credential assessment may not be relevant since she is not the principal applicant.
6. communication should be withing 7-9 weeks.

Actually my supervisor is ready to provide me a reference letter on normal paper. My company is not ready to provide me detailed ref. letter.....

Your supervisor will do. Note that the normal paper should be your company's letterhead.

This is not a problem since you supplied your names in english. It's not mandatory, the instructions say 'if applicable' and not 'compulsory'.

Guys,what is the phone number of cic for calling from outside of Canada? I need to call them to find out my UCI from last year. I don't have my returned generic form here with me to find it myself.

It can be addressed to your visa processing office.

Who had to translate documents? and did you include an affidavit and a certified true copy of your original foreign document?

I have birth certificates and other few papers to translate, some of them I don't have their original copies, as they belong to my sisters who live overseas in canada.

Can you pls tell what you meant by " I just sent my experience letters"? Did you not included it with your application package received on 5th May?

Hi Experts,

I am a FSW 2014 applicant. I applied last year but my file was returned because the cap reached limit. This year, my file has already reached CIC today and I just realized that in form IMM5669e background declaration Personal History section, although I mentioned details without any gap, including the information when I was in my homeland India and when I was in USA for my work assignments on work visa but I forgot to mention the days I visited other countries (UK for 3 days and Canada for a week) from USA while I was still out of India and still on USA work visa.

However, I have mentioned all travels including USA work, UK and Canada tourism visits in another form IMM5562 supplementary info travels.

My question is, would not mentioning tourism visits in IMM5669e personal history cause rejection of my application? Should I send another courier to CIC with the modified form by including these visits information. Please advise. Thanks.
