anybody in the forum, who applied for FBI clearance recently in United States?

I have applied few weeks back, no response yet.

Can anyone tell, how much time it will take?

Please share any experiences.

Completeness check for hot NOCs may be done separatly as we can notice in 2***. In my limited view they might be doing completness check for end of September or early October.

IN THE CASE OF CUBANS THAT DON'T HAVE THE POSSIBILITY TO PAY THE APPL. FEES IN THROUGH CC OR THE OTHER CHOICES, WE CAN PAY HERE IN HAVANA TO AN ACCOUNT THE VISA OFFICE HERE HAS IN A BANK. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT THE MODE IN WHICH FEE TO CIC IS PAID IN HAVANA. IS IT PRESCRIBED SPECIFICALLY FOR HAVANA?
DO YOU KNOW IF THAT HAS TO DO WITH ANY DELAY ON ANSWERING ME OR NOT? IN ANY OTHER CASE YOU WILL GET INFORMED BY EMAIL IN SHAPE OF PER(POSITIVE ELIGIBILITY REVIEW)
ANOTHER QUESTION: I MAILED MY APPL. TO THEIR PO BOX ADDRESS, DOES THAT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE TIME IT TAKES TO PROCESSING IT? WAS IT THE SAME MAILING ADDRESS WHICH IS MENTIONED ON THE WEBSITE OF CIC(CIO, NOVA SCOTIA)

Yes dude they have already picked up speed.... cc/ dd charging time has also reduced from 120/130 days to about 90 days in many cases.

If last week CIC charged on Saturdays and Sundays, this week also should not be different, considering their achievement targets must have only become steeper as yer end is approaching. Also Express entry is to be launched later in january. Though FSWP14 will continue till April 30th 2015.

how does one get notified if they're PERred? Is it via snail mail, email, or phone call.

App received July 22.
NOC: 3012
no PER yet.
DD encashment: unknown :-( (cannot inquire until monday. bank closed)

Also my consultancy changed their representative last Oct. How will that affect my application? I have sent a new Use of Rep form to my consultancy that same month. (Dont know what they have done with it).

Lastly, is it possible that my application was rejected? Im very tensed..thanks..
