Bro, the sealed envelope is University printed envelope or any white envelope with University seal on top ? When I went today to university, they told they don't have any envelope, we have to buy and they will put seal on thta. Please clarify

In the Generic Application, page 2 residential address, the province/state cannot be filled???

This was conveyed to one of the applicants by CIC lawyer, K_b:

The FSW program looks at an applicant's educational qualification, then they look at your current work experience. Your current work experience MUST match your educational Qualification. So Your husband can not apply for the FSW program using the qualification for a degree in civil engineering while having a mechanical engineering or petroleum engineering Job title

This information looks FALSE to me as its unfounded in the guidelines....if its correct,more than half of the applicants will never be qualified.....and yes I wont qualify also.
Academically I read Civil Engineering but I currently work as a Geophysicist (NOC 2113) which was what I applied for.......I don't need to be telling you that my file is on processing.
let us be careful about unfounded information been spread about without a logical link to CIC.

Hi,

I am new on this forum and planning to apply under Canada FSW scheme.
My employer has given me below job description:

1. Interpreting business requirements and design databases, projects data model (ER, logical, and physical schema design)
2. Development of database technical requirements including creation of advanced SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers.
3. Analyze and troubleshoot data quality issues and formulating ETL process to import/publishing of data to/from multiple sources.
4. Analyzing the execution plans, implementing indexing strategies, creation of partition scheme, and function to improve the performance, reduce the contention and increase the availability of data.
5. Interacted with client team to discover potential improvement areas for reliable data and to reduce redundancy.
6. Periodically checking the slowly changing data dimensions and estimating the risk or long term impact.
7. Gather data from different sources and analyze patterns /relationships using data mining and analysis tools (Microstrategy) to extract descriptive areas that impact business and can be used as input for future actions.


Please suggest which noc is best for me. I am confused between 2172 and 2173.

Match NOC by yourself and whatever you think best suites for you, go for it.!

Gulbadan Bhai, there is one tab in the excel sheet called "Table With Sorting". You can play sorting whatever way you like. If you please check the tab and not happy with the feature, please let us know.

I Have checked it bro.. but its not fruitfull.. if you urself see the sorting, It is not giving the precise results..

One thing is If you can make it the same as the first sheet

I got eight personal messages in last three days about job profile for 2171...See I am not in doubt that this NOC will be filled late(CAP),,,but please fill According to your duties and roles..

Out of eight , I wanted to say No to 5 that dnt fill to 2171 as role doesn't match but people can take it other way as i also filled for 2171...Request you to chk ur role and designation not the Noc which will fill late(not hot).... you can still get the chance in your respective NOC(even it is hot) than being refused ..

I am confused in choosing the NOC.. my doubt is whether to choose 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants, 2173 Software engineers and designers, 2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers. I previously worked for JAVA and now working for SAP BI and my current designation is Programmer Analyst. So, could somebody help me choose the NOC.

Tittle doesnt matter.
12a is asking for your primary intended NOC for which you want CIC to assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements to be eligible for processing.
In short,you applied for the NOC in 12a in your FSW application.
Note......the occupation tittle may be the name of the NOC or the alternative names specified in the 2011 NOC code.

a) Identify the primary occupation and corresponding four-digit NOC 2011 code that will be used to assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements. Choose one occupation from the list you provide in your answer to 12b).

But in above red statement, you are saying it can be NOC title itself or any of the sample title.

Please explain this difference.
