Hello experts,

I've a query regarding Eligible Occupations:

In order to successfully claim 'Work Experince' points in 'Eligible Occupations,' do we need to fulfill BOTH of the following conditions [as given on National Occupational Classifaction (NOC)] or one of those may also serve the purpose:

1) Main Duties
2) Employment Requirements

In my case, I have exactly same JOB DESCRIPTIONS / MAIN DUTIES but unfortunately don't have required/relevant qualifications as mentioned under 'Employment Requirement'

I NEED EXPERT OPINION PLEASE!

No tangocharlie1234 you are not right according to processing rule which is declared or named as ministerial order section 10 and page 12.

"The “Employment Requirements” listed in the NOC description for each occupation are not applicable." in determining your eligibility for FSW.

Thats correct... A mechanical engineer can qualiry for 2174 if his job responsibities are that of a software programmer.

Dude Do you want send your education credentials for verification? Then you will have to go to Kalina University. There they will guide you.

only liquid cash, doller, bank balance, cettificate are valid with statemnt from the official institute or bank. Jewls, proprty, bonds etc r not proof of funds

Anybody here who graduated from a college associated with Mumbai University? My friend is at the Department of Student Welfare, Churchgate right now to get my bachelor degree transcripts and certificate attested on my behalf. Apparently they've handed him a token number and its already past 2pm. Would it still be worth waiting considering they say one should be there between 11am to 2pm for attestation work? or should he just return? He reached there 11:30am today so I don't see how making another trip next time will help him if they are too crowded like this?

Also in case they verify the photocopies with the originals and insist on leaving the copies for attestation, what is the norm of having them back? My friend will have to visit them again for collection or they will deliver to my/his home address? If its collection in person then how can he confirm prior to making his visit that DSW has done the required attestation completely? Any phone number he can call on or email seeking status??

Will the DSW attest all my transcripts although only two from the last year were awarded by them directly and first four ensuing from the first two years of exams held by college in-house or will I have to get first 4 attested by my college principal?

Let him wait sometimes there at the University office. They might collect all the required information /dcouments and fee for attesting the degree certificate.

For me, which I have done last year, they asked me to come after 10 days to take the sealed envelop addressed to WES. We can send this packet (without openng the seal) directly to WES. But, in just a week time, they gave me sealed envelop addressed to WES.

If you have some sort of influence, it might get done even in lesser time.

The FSW program looks at an applicant's educational qualification, then they look at your current work experience. Your current work experience MUST match your educational Qualification. So Your husband can not apply for the FSW program using the qualification for a degree in civil engineering while having a mechanical engineering or petroleum engineering Job title

I ordered for the document by document evaluation with ICAP service report and i see that the sample evlauation report for document by document is the same as that of the FSWP evaluation report.

Please advise if i can use the WES document by document evaluation report.

Bro, the sealed envelope is University printed envelope or any white envelope with University seal on top ? When I went today to university, they told they don't have any envelope, we have to buy and they will put seal on thta. Please clarify
