Can I ask a super dumb question: What's next? How will I know if my application has been entered into the queue?

(I'm sure this question has been answered hundreds of times on this thread, but I'm scared to search 7500 pages )

You can ask them the status of the app on the 70th day after lock-in date. They will respond after 45 days. By that day you will probably receive PER which is the first government communication.

NOC : 2174
App date : 16-Jun-2014
DD encashed on : 3-Oct-14 (as per CIC) & 9th Oct (as per ICICI bank)

They have requested everything to be completed by me and received by them by Dec 8th.

Yes. I too got my IELTS dates for Dec only. Can I apply in the last week of Dec or first week of Jan? Is there any official announcement saying the current FSW is extended till April 2015? please advice.

Hello,

Does anyone know what has caused slowness with CIC? CC charge is stuck at 7th July and PER flow is also slowed down, hardly any updates. Has anyone seen such a slow week in the past bcoz I have not.

Don't give me vague answers like Diwali leaves Am sure this job is not outsourced.

The only answer that comes to my mind is that there was a second large wave of applications lodged in July. The early birds of May were ready to go as soon as the program started with the packages rejected for FSW2013. Other folk who had to do ECA and staff had their apps ready in July. The guys who used consultants would probably be among the second wave too, hence we can't see their entries in the SS.

As per SS, average turnaround time of London visa office is 7.5 months
Does it mean if a candidate has filed his application on May 15th then he can see himself in Canada around Dec 31st?

I am a bit worried because my two year old son has problem in speech. Until now he has no combined words though he speak a lot of baby words and some letters and numbers. The rest of his motor skills is fine. We will have our medical examination next week, can this be a problem? Does any of you experience problem in medical about development stage of your child?
