Hi Everyone,

I finally mailed in my application package yesterday!

Do you think it will make the 1000 cap? This is for NOC 2171, which is currently showing 348 received on CIC website.

Thanks.

Impossible to say. CIO has stopped updating caps, although they are supposed to do it at least once a week. And there's confusion regarding their approach to counting cap since the last update (c-check, fee charge, PER).

November 2014 Applicants

I am starting this thread for people applying in November under FSW

Thanks Man.

Can I ask a super dumb question: What's next? How will I know if my application has been entered into the queue?

(I'm sure this question has been answered hundreds of times on this thread, but I'm scared to search 7500 pages :D)

Unofficially, you will know once CIC charges your application fee (checking for CC or DD charge through your bank). But officially, CIC will communicate with you with a PER (positive eligibility review) AFTER charging your fee.

The best option for you that I see is to block your credit card payment. CIC strongly advises against two simultaneous applications for the same NOC. I am not sure what the consequences will be in such cases but it's better to heed their suggestion and not risk anything for your already approved application.

I'm worried now. I'm going to block my cc next week. Also, do I need to inform CIO on withdrawing second application? Or should I keep silence after blocking cc as payment won't be charged for second application

Hello,

Does anyone know what has caused slowness with CIC? CC charge is stuck at 7th July and PER flow is also slowed down, hardly any updates. Has anyone seen such a slow week in the past bcoz I have not.

Don't give me vague answers like Diwali leaves Am sure this job is not outsourced.
