Yes, it is highly risky attempt. Only one person get success may be because that applicant's employer has a branch office at Canada.

So, agree. None should attempt it. If not possible, get it signed by colleagues/other seniors with separate cover letter explaining why not successfull in getting by supervisor/HR and if possible with evidence.

Hi,

Have a query. Received my credential evaluation report. However while applying for my credential evaluation report , I did not expand my initials and the same shows in the report as well. While my passport has my initials expanded. Should this be a reason to worry?
Example:
Name in passport : Ann Mary
Name in credential evaluation report : Ann M

Hi Palak,

Are you affected with these +1's and -1's.

As you say that your just posting an update is also resulting in -1, it could be that someone might be playing a prank on you.

What i would suggest is that, you should not be worried about these -1's as they are not harming you in anyway also +1 is not doing any advantage to you, relax and keep doing the good work that you already are doing, don't worry about the remarks.

Get charged and bring back you positive spirit as there are miles to go. Good Luck !!!

And probably 2 set of fingerprint cards too...Basically, 2 separate applications in 2 separate envelopes I believe...to obtain 2 set of reports on 2 different addresses...I might be wrong, but that appears to be the logical way..I don't know for sure though

This is regarding USA FBI report. I want to recieve results at two different addresses. Can I send two complete applications in one envelope?

Seniors, my birth certi was not in english hence i translated to english and submitted.

I have submitted:
1. Translated copy of birth certi (on 20rs stamp paper) with notary stamp, sign and details of registeration etc. (affidavit not done)
2. Original birth certi's (non english) notarized copy
3. SSC birth certi copy (shows my DOB in words and numbers with my father's name)
4. School leaving certi copy (shows my DOB in words and numbers with my father's name)

is this OK?

who has done the translation? It needs to be done by authorised translator only. Also an affidavit needs to be collected from the translator that information given is true to the best of his knowledge.
Point no 3. SSC BIRTH CERTIFICATE, I am assuming this is SSC passing certificate where DOB is mentioned.

Since I am a 1st Oct applicant, I have a lot of waiting time allowing me the luxury of letting my mind wander. Hence, request you to please bear with me

Just had a couple of thoughts regarding the process from application receipt at CIC to PER email. Not sure if this is the correct sequence:

Step 1 - Application received at CIC in May-2014

Step 2 - CIC Team A performs completeness check on the May-2014 applications

Step 3 - CIC Team B updates the Cap status based on feedback on completeness check of May-2014 applications by CIC Team A

Step 4 - CIC Team C commences charging of Credit Cards/ Encashment of DD on the complete applications in May-2014

Step 5 - CIC Team D sends out PER emails to the May-2014 applicants

Step 6 - In the meantime, CIC Team A finishes the completeness check for the next month (Jun-2014) and sends out the complete list of applications in Jun-2014 to CIC Team B

Step 7 - CIC Team B does not update Cap status until CIC Team D has completed sending out the PER emails for May-2014 applicants

Step 8 - CIC Team C commences charging of Credit Cards/ Encashment of DD on the complete applications in Jun-2014

Step 9 - CIC Team D first finishes all PER emails for all the May-2014 applications

Step 10 - Once CIC Team D has sent out PER emails for all the May-2014 applications, it informs CIC Team B to update Cap status with the details of the complete applications in Jun-2014

Step 11 - CIC Team D starts sending out PER emails to Jun-2014 applicants

And because of this gap between the quick progress made in finishing the completeness check by Team A but stopped from updating the Cap status until CIC Team D finishes with the PER emails, the Cap status update is delayed

Can any brother shed some light if this might be the process involved and perhaps the reason for the delay?

I have a question on PCC validity. I'm 30-May applicant and I received PER on 24-Sep and waiting for MR and PCC.

I have a PCC from India dated 6-Jun-2014. Can I send this 5 months old PCC if NDVO requests for it or should I apply for a new one?

pcc validity is 1 year so your June pcc will be fine. The clause of 3 months validity for pcc is applicable only at the time of initial application.

I think this PCC was valid for 3 months. Forumities please confirm if anyone knows the exact validity.

pcc validity is 1 year. Clause of 3 months validity for pcc applies only for pcc submitted along with initial application
