Hi Guys .... need help...

My Credit Card has been replaced by a chip credit card due to RBI guidelines. And the card I had used for payment advice to CIC has now been INVALIDATED. My new credit Card has the same number but a different CVV and expiry date.
Card Company: American Express

I am now planning to send a new payment form to CIC with new credit card details. Will be emailing/Couriering/faxing all three documents.
Sending 3 documents now:
1. Cover Letter
2. Payment form
3. Xerox of previous payment form (Cancelled)

In my cover letter I am going to include the following details:
Name:
Passport number:
Date of birth:
NOC Code:
Application courier docket number
Date of receipt of Application by CIC:
Person name to whom package was delivered:

Please let me know if I should include anything else ....?

Any previous cases of similar nature ??? anyone can help me out a bit ??

You can also send a scanned copy of the new payment form as an attachment and include also you nationality. Good luck, I've seen someone else earlier on this forum who did the same thing and got through. You can refer to page 5577 of this thread for details. I too had to send a new payment form as I had an issue with the bank, thankfully my original payment went through on first attempt so they never had to use the new payment form. However I've definitely seen persons here send new forms and got through. All the best!

What additional documents did you send ?

My reasoning is simple that due to RBI Guidelines my Credit Card has been updated ....

In my case there were errors related to wrong information accidently put in application and I forgot to sign at one place. So I had no more reasoning but a decent request letter was given. They accepted it.. Your case is very genuine they will take it no worries. They are more helpful than we think.. Best luck..

Thanks for your positive words man .... I'm just worried as my application received date is closing in on charging .... hence the anxiety

Have done a mistake while filling in the background declaration form..on point 12 addresses.i have by mistake typed in 2012 instead of 2011 for one of the adresses...all other details including personal history -point 8 are allright..
Should I be worried with the above mistake? I have been blessed with a baby recently so could I possibly send additional docs for my child & include the updated background declaration form as well..

Don't panic. Get in touch with robsmann and SonOfOdin, both of whom had new CC details sent and then successfully charged. Confirm what all they mentioned. Though what you have planned is already exhaustive, still confirming would ensure you are not missing anything.

FBI PCC

Hi,

somebody Please help me.

I am applying for FBI PCC. Me and my wife are the applicants .

1 ) Do we need to include separate standard application form(Given in FBI site) for me and my wife ?

2) Do we need to prepare a separate written request letter for FBI background varification signed by both of us?

3) My wife is not having Social security no . Will that be an issue?

had sent my Rprf draft alongwith other doc on 16 th sept, reached NDVO on 18th sept. As per the bank DD already encashed. Ecas shows third line on 20th sept. How longshould I wait for PPR & DM.????

You will get it soon! All the hurdles are over for you, when there is a 3rd line on Ecas and DD been encashed.

By the way, how long it takes to update the 3rd line from the date we do medical?

Deyka, I don't think a simple typo in an address field will disqualify you. Congratulations on having a baby. It wouldn't hurt to send them updated address information along with the baby's documents.

Hello Seniors,

Good news, I just received Medical Request mail from my Local VO.
Just want to double check, what is the next step now.
1. Go to CIC disgnated doctor and complete the medical examination
2. pay the RPRF fees via link provided by local VO.

Please advise if I am missing any steps here.

my application reached on 7th July but still no acknowledgement letter or any kind of communication. Did anybody applied on or after 7th July received any communication from CIC?

Too early, they are still in late June. Sit tight for another month, maybe more.

Guys I need your help! I opted to notarized my transcript/ marksheets even if it is in already in English language language but unfortunately I forgot to put my originnal transcript in my file. Will that be a cause of rejection? Please advise.

You only need a copy, not the original. As long as they have a copy you are fine.
