My cousin is thinking of applying in November. he had spinal surgery few years back after an accident and now he is perfectly fine. will there be any problem in medical and then subsequent visa issuing?

Looking at the SS your app was received on 8/13. So there is a good one month at least before the app is charged. I don't think you need to worry yet, it's still very early days.

The phone reps would only know if an app has been assigned a UCI, which of course cannot happen before PER is issued. Just sit tight and trust the effort you've put in.

I received an email from CIC saying that they have no record of my application as a response to my email enquiry. I sent my application by FedEX and have the proof of delivery. I provided CIC the tracking number, but haven't heard from them. Has anyone had a similar experience? My application appears to have got lost after reaching CIC! What a waste of time, money, etc...What am I supposed to do? Calling them is useless.

Hi, maybe your application is still in the lock-in state which means it's just lying there somewhere in CIO waiting to be opened when it's your turn. that's why they can not provide you with any information regarding your application. that's my best guess.

My Credit Card has been replaced by a chip credit card due to RBI guidelines. And the card I had used for payment advice to CIC has now been INVALIDATED. My new credit Card has the same number but a different CVV and expiry date.
Card Company: American Express

I am now planning to send a new payment form to CIC with new credit card details. Will be emailing/Couriering/faxing all three documents.
Sending 3 documents now:
1. Cover Letter
2. Payment form
3. Xerox of previous payment form (Cancelled)

In my cover letter I am going to include the following details:
Name:
Passport number:
Date of birth:
NOC Code:
Application courier docket number
Date of receipt of Application by CIC:
Person name to whom package was delivered:

Please let me know if I should include anything else ....?

Any previous cases of similar nature ??? anyone can help me out a bit ??

Of course not, rest assured on this.

Having a surgery is not a reason for being rejected in the IME. Since he is fine now, there is no reason to worry. If someone after having undergone a surgery, requires dependence on others for normal day-to-day tasks then that may be a reason for rejection (as that may require extra medical insurance in Canada).

Tell your cousin not to worry, not one bit.

Exactly. The completeness check for July apps would still be going on, or about to be over.

What additional documents did you send ?

My reasoning is simple that due to RBI Guidelines my Credit Card has been updated ....

had sent my Rprf draft alongwith other doc on 16 th sept, reached NDVO on 18th sept. As per the bank DD already encashed. Ecas shows third line on 20th sept. How longshould I wait for PPR & DM.????
