I wanted to ask the applicants with DD made from Indian banks. Is der any issue with the DD ? I mean a frnd of mine told me that RBI has given instructions to banks that validity shud be 3 months for a DD . When i got my DD for embassy fees I was told dat it is valid for 6 months and same was the case wid a frnd of mine whu was applying through a consultant. Recently his consultant told him dat he needs to get new DD as CIC is not able to encash DD dat has crossed 3 months timeline. I was not given any such intructions from CIC (as i have applied on my own).

My file was received on 6th June and till now no response from CIC and DD also not cashed. Really worried now :-[

All Internatinoal DD issued are valid for 6 months. only natinoal DDs have validity of three months.. uh can confirm that from bank also.. i made my DD from Axis bank.. and they told me this thing..

I don't have access to spread sheet. Could anyone on this forum, please tell me which date CIC is charging now and the till what date completeness check has been completed. Mine was received in July end, so getting cuorious after seeing the CAP on 2174. Thanks in advance.

july10 i was charged and 12th aug per was issued

i think 3 months validity is only for local dd's and for international dd's there is no lifetime i.e. its valid till realization of the dd (told by my HDFC bank manager) or its 6 months, told by most forumites.Once check with you bank. I had the dd made on 18th may and my app was recieved on 4th june. dd enchashment was on 22 september. got per on 29th september. so clearly its was after 3 months. I would again say check with your bank and dont worry validity wont be 3 months if you dd is in Canadian Dollars.

In case there is no validity stamp on the DD, it is valid for 6 months

Need some help.

One of my friends has done GNIIT 3 years course in India. In participation with Kuvempu University, NIIT offered lateral entry for Bachelors Degree (BSC IT) to him. Which enabled them to get that 3 years bachelors degree in 2 years time. So now he got GNIIT cert for 3 years and a Bachelors Degree from Kuvempu.

My question is does WES recognize this as equivalent to Bachelors Degree?

Can he apply for Masters Course in Canada?

How many points he can claim for education while applying for Express entry 2015.

I am from hyderabad and wifey is staying in bangalore since 2 months for personal reasons. Need to get PCC now. I can get my PCC from hyderabad with no problems. what should we do for wifey's pcc?

should we apply from bangalore or from hyderabad?

please guide us....

p.s. her passport address and all other docs are from bangalore.

Online payment mode Only shows CAD$ (490 per adult) by CC.. whereas if you pay by DD you can get it issued in INR as well (26,700/-).
So its a matter of additional cost related to cross currency mark up charges 8)
I haven't paid it so cant comment more.

Hi there,

The address which I mentioned is the one in Canada to which all the educational documents needs to be sent for the FSWP credential evaluation. WES has also got its offices in the US. The address from which your receive the items from them shouldn't be necessarily the Canadian address

Though I believe, it won't warrant rejection, still recommend you to send the photos as additional documents.

Additional document sending process:

Step 1:
Write a cover letter explaining why it was missed. Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your original package through which courier. Send the letter
