Hi...

In case specific inquiry form, theres a section in which we have to mention type of application.. in that they have given choice of permanent residence in canada, student, visitor, worker... we are immigration applicants so what option should we select??

Dear Seniors,

Regarding NDVO it seems that they have started issuing MR for 14th, 15th & 16th May applicant , but referring SS it seems that there are atleast 40 odds application from May-1 to May-13 still there with status being "In Process".Even if their "PER" dates are considered it seems FIFO is not being followed coz i think atleast "Start of Processing should have been intimated" if application are being of complex nature. Please comment.....

It all depends how much background checks needs to be done. More the checks more time will require.

I wanted to ask the applicants with DD made from Indian banks. Is der any issue with the DD ? I mean a frnd of mine told me that RBI has given instructions to banks that validity shud be 3 months for a DD . When i got my DD for embassy fees I was told dat it is valid for 6 months and same was the case wid a frnd of mine whu was applying through a consultant. Recently his consultant told him dat he needs to get new DD as CIC is not able to encash DD dat has crossed 3 months timeline. I was not given any such intructions from CIC (as i have applied on my own).

My file was received on 6th June and till now no response from CIC and DD also not cashed. Really worried now :-[

International DD (payable at Canada) is valid for 6 months.

National DD (payable in India) is valid for 3 months.

Hi, I am not sure I get this right, but if you are thinking of submitting additional application with the same NOC, both will be returned. If you are 100% sure that one of the app is already on its way, submit another one, otherwise please refrain.

Item 19 on the Document checklist requires photos of all members whether they will accompany you or not.

My application received by CIO on 2014-08-20, unfortunately i did not attach my daughters photos.
Kindly advise what should i do now

please start with PCC straightaway.
Medicals, you can wait till you get request. actually you cant even do medicals beforehand because they ask for proof lettter that your medicals were requested. I went to Max healthcare at panchsheel, experience was good. still waiting for result status in ECAS though.
they do blood/urine/hiv/chest xray and general checkup such as height/weight/eye/blood pressure.

I have received PER mail on 8th Oct . Other mails from NDVO would be landing soon in my inbox. Can I start the PCC and Medical process before getting mail or I can only initiate the process after it ..
If yes, What tests do all they do in medical examination ? How about a kid of 8 years of age ?
Out of the panel list which one is preferred one in New Delhi ? Any suggestion ..?
