I have checked about this a while ago as I did not include affidavit for my birth cert and the answer from senior was that it is not compulsory. I had

1) Birth Cert in native language (copy)
2) Translated document in English (notary)

anyone knows anything about this? pls. what about other countries? do you all have this affidavit attached in your translation?

I am from hyderabad and wifey is staying in bangalore since 2 months for personal reasons. Need to get PCC now. I can get my PCC from hyderabad with no problems. what should we do for wifey's pcc?

should we apply from bangalore or from hyderabad?

please guide us....

p.s. her passport address and all other docs are from bangalore.

I had received MR, PCC and RPRF request from NDVO.Done with all this.Along with these docs they have to asked to send copy of passport which i did.
My passport expiry date is Oct 15.Can some one advice if it is a good idea to renew the passport now before stamping or this can be an issue for them at this stage?

you can apply where her passport address is. So Banglore.

so do i have to inform cic that her current address is bangalore? coz we applied from hyderabad and now she is in bangalore.

Ankur Parekh has got medical request. looks like by mistake he has updated wrong field. No passport request yet for NDVO.

NDVO issued passport request first time to - Ankurparekh which was issued on 6th Oct but entry updated on 12th Oct....good news for all who are waiting....

Get it done from where it is more convenient. It is not mention in the guideline that PCC need to be issued from current address. Logically it is better to get from location where someone spend more time in the last one year.

its super convenient to get her pcc from bangalore. but do i need to inform cic that her present address is in bangalore now or can i just get the bangalore pcc and submit it with meds request without mentioning the change of address?

i think 3 months validity is only for local dd's and for international dd's there is no lifetime i.e. its valid till realization of the dd (told by my HDFC bank manager) or its 6 months, told by most forumites.Once check with you bank. I had the dd made on 18th may and my app was recieved on 4th june. dd enchashment was on 22 september. got per on 29th september. so clearly its was after 3 months. I would again say check with your bank and dont worry validity wont be 3 months if you dd is in Canadian Dollars.

Gud to hear u got ur DD cashed . Any idea why der is no response from CIC in my case ? Btw a rejected applicant is informed by CIC about his/her rejection? I am hoping nd bit tensed too coz of the delay (NOC2132)

As her passport address is from Banglaore, get it done from there - no issue.

I don't think it is her relatively permanent address - she will come back to your residential address soon and your residential address is her also. So don't bother to inform any change of address of her.
