Hi Century,

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately anything to be printed on letter head for Bank of America needs an approval from Head of department. Can I get an email from my managers official email id (xxx @ bankofamerica.com) and print it out?

Also regarding roles and responsiblities can I make an affidavit stating them and mentioning the company is refusing to provide them. I had asked them 4 years ago during my Australia Immigration and they refused it officially via email.

I understand your situation and feel really bad. If you look into the last year rejection list, you will find "self-attested job description not accepted".

What you can do:
1. Get the e-mail from your manager and get it signed and sealed by him; [now it is not self-attested and as there is sign/seal of your supervisor, it is not done by you]
2. Give a cover letter explaining why letter head has not been used.
3. Lastly let's hope for the best.

If I were you, I would do the above. You may ask seniors for alternatives/way out.

i agree.. but your statement is true only if one filled a generic form online. however, my file was also returned last year, but i did not fill in any documents online, rather i've printed out all the forms and filled them by hand. in cases like mine, i believe, they only scanned name and country of origin, for the reference. therefore, my UCI might have only such info. this is my point of view.

If someone don't fill the generic form with the computer rather write with the pen, than CIC's staff give input manually into the system by looking at the form [and curse the applicant ].

Sorry to say ur Doc will reach tomorrow to NS. They won't deliver. Bright chances r there to deliver on Wednesday 2pm Canada time.
Wait & watch other service deliver other applicant doc. No option.

Mine was showing same since Friday, but just a while ago it was updated to show "With delivery courier NOVA SCOTIA AREA, NS - CANADA 09:55". I expected delivery time when i submitted the package was Tuesday. So I believe we are still on track.

I am based on Singapore for several years but am Indian national.
Can I select NDVO instead of SGVO? The reason being SGVO takes a long time to process PR compared to NDVO.
Is this an option?

In IELTS, the total score should be minimum CLB 8 to get 20 points.

So 47 + 20 = 67 points

Actually my wife had 1 back log in graduation in 2006, without clearing that she join post graduate diploma in healthcare management from Dr. Reddys Foundation from year 2006 to 2007 (1 year Diploma). In 2007 we got married and only in 2010 she cleared that backlog and completed her graduation. As you mention she is entitled for 21 points only, if we add this diploma will it be any changes in points and will they consider this post graduate diploma as this is not after her graduation. Although now she is pursuing MSC from distance but not completed yet. I am worried due to lack of points and getting ielts CLB 8 its quite difficult.

I dont think we need to sign it . I have taken from StandardCB 2 days before and they told no need to sign .

HELP: what would you say about it?

my application was received at cio on may 8, 2014. lets suppose another applicant's app is received on may 20, 2014. now I know that cio will take average 2 months to issue any update for my app.

is it possible for the applicant whose app is received after mine, to call cio and get uci or any other update on his/her app before mine? people are saying no matter when ever ur app is received, just give a call to cio, they will give u uci on phone and prefer to process ur app for per than those applicants whose app was received b4 you.

is it really the case? I mean is it possible to call them and get uci sooner than those who applied b4 me? is calling necessary to get your app processed faster then those who have just applied and waiting for cio to contact them rather then contacting cio themselves? if I don't call them for any update or uci then they will process my app late then those who contact them no matter their app got there late then mine?

what I have read on cic website and other relevant websites that those whose apps are received 1st get processed 1st. its like FIFO, first in first out........but I m seriously worried about what people saying about calling and getting uci and updates so that app is preferred to be processed earlier than those who don't call and just wait for cio to contact them.

I also agree, because it is already a give away information if they read the rest of the forms... And I also look at previous rejections and there was none... I think he will be ok.

Not an expert but I think it should not be a problem. From last year, I read a few people saying their applications were returned because they forgot to sign but there was no one who said no name written and any issues. Not signing a form is a big deal as no one else can/should sign on your behalf but writing a missing name by cic officer/someone else should be ok. Good luck!

I confirm, there should'nt be any problem when a family's name is missing at page 12 of the generic form.
Last year, I had my package returned due to a missing form (additional info. of spouse). I had also missed to fill my family's name, but the generic form was considered to be ok!

By the way, I had submitted a new application Under NOC2113 on the 10th of May and I hope this time, It will be ok!
