Hi,
I've applied under 2174 category, Computer Programmer, and my application reached to nova scotia on 13-Aug 2014. Already cap reached to 537 for this category and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to the cap max count or not.
My question is in case I do not match the cap will my application fees be refunded back or not. And what are the options I have in such case.

Please share your view on this.

do you have reasons to believe "Medicals have been received" is not equal to "Medicals received by the VO"?
It's difficult to tell, but from what I've read it looks like this ECAS status appears after the medicals have been reviewed by a Regional Medical Office and the local VO has received a notification that it can continue the application processing. - I might be wrong here, because information about this is very scarce, but I've reviewed a fairly significant amount of sources before I came to this theory. Specifically, if you look at posts of people whose medicals have been furthered, they confirm they didn't get this ECAS status until further tests have been completed successfully.
I'd be glad if someone has additional clear facts or official sources which prove or disprove this.

We can rename the column to "Medicals received", I guess, if you think the current name doesn't sound consistent enough.

In general, when you enter your details in the spreadsheet form, it has a clarification that this column stores the earliest known date when ECAS status has changed to "Medicals have been received". VOs do not send any emails in this case, as far as I know.

Dear Brother:

You need not be worry on passport issue. You need to update it when your file reach your VO.

As your wife has done affidavit and provided court order, it will also cause no problem.

If you have not been inadmissible, visitor visa rejection shall have no effect.

Lastly request you to get enlisted into spreadsheet.

I am new in this forum.
I have few questions regarding my file. My file received on 8th july 2014 (NOC 4011).
My passport will be expired on 20th September-2014.I have already renewed my passport. Do you think, I should send the updated passport to CIC by courier and e-mail the documents with old UCI number or wait CC charge or till PER.
Secondly, My wife has no name in birth column written only baby, so we did self(my spouse) affidavit by attaching passport copy indicating the father name and mother name as per BC. We also send the court order which clearly shows that municipality cannot add the name of child after some years.
Lastly, can Visitor visa rejection for CANADA create problem to PR file?
Please suggest me the solution for these two reasons.
Can I Send the renew passport and BC with 10th certificate and parents affidavit or wait till PER.

Also send me affidavit format for BC from parents' side to explain the reason.

I have appointment letter (mentions salary and job title), experience letter (mentions joining and leaving dates) and reference letter (JD matching NOC, hours/week mentioned, salary mentioned, signed by manager, will also take business card) from my ex-employer.

Do I need to send all to CIC?
OR ONLY EXPERIENCE LETTER AND REFERENCE LETTER??

when you have ALL then send ALL since its no longer challenge to get them, usually for most it becomes:-
Mandatory:-Reference letter
Optional(additional add on advantage may be given):-experience, lor etc

i am showing funds and planning to take certificate from the bank next week so for 3 people i am showing approx. INR 1150000 in saving
bank account...

And in form schedule 3 we need to show in CAD so can i count approx 57 rupees and write or do i need to write the rate of that day

Good news! I have received my PER on 12 Sep @ 2.11am.
NOC 1123
Application recd: 20 May
For info:
1. I have self-attested duties
2. I sent an additional package on 29 May (received at CIC on 4 Jun) containing left-out reference letter signed by my immediate superior, and acknowledged by CIC to have successfully matched with the initial aplication
3. I did not write my name on the space on consent and declaration on IMM0008 form but I signed it
4. I checked with HSBC on 2 Sept but DD still not cashed yet and about to check again today
5. I used tons of staples
6. I left gaps in history
7. I did not send mailing labels

Totally untrue. If he has other money and still has sufficient settlement funds it is perfectly fine.

I am also about to get the bank statement to show as POF. (Not sufficient to meet the min. money)

I have some money invested in shares as well which i need to show so that i MEET THE MIN. funds requirement (HOW CAN I SHOW THIS MONEY)?

well it should be fine, but I recommend that you convert them into FDs and then submit!
