Couple of guys have managed to lose the CC and have to get it blocked to avoid misuse (and charging by CIC), therefore, u r requested to keep at safe place.

U shud have provided the affidavit of translator, but i hope notorization shud work and as long as u have provided the copy of original.

P.S: as u have to submit it tomorrow...........to be on a safe side, y don't u get the affidavit, y take risk???

Ok. Can you help what should be written on the affidavit? Can affidavit be provided on a plain paper? I will try to get it signed from the translation, but he doesnot have a stamp.

Also, I am applying at London Visa Office (Country, Pakistan). What is your source of providing all pages with visa stamps? My wife is travelling abroad, and I cannot provide all visa pages of my spouse.

Its for Pk citizen residing in US (or any other country) and applying for VO other than LVO. Just get the scanned copy of signature page (not must have, but i think good to have).

Just ask ur translator, they have affidavit........... which states that they have good command over both language and competent/authorized to translate blah blah blah............ but i think translator shud have stamp (it adds to their genuineness/credibility)

As per CIC affidavit shud have following:

Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document.

Don't go with page concept. Provide page/pages that contain required information/amendment. If second page contain signature, you can provide it.

For translation document, a file will be rejected if missed one of the following:
1. Notarised translation and translation done by certified translator.
2. Notarized copy of the original documents.

Though Guide7000 recommends affidavit, for this reason, no application has been rejected.

Lastly we are discussing about an immaterial issue:National ID. With or without it, applications accepted. Mine is partly English- I just submitted as it is without any translation.

Don't speculate on BC. It is one of the major issue for rejection. Either submit proper BC else provide 10th Class mark sheet. Ensure for all case, your Full Name, at least one of your parent's name, and DoB is there.

This is my first post and I am glad that I came to know about this forum as the members have done a wonderful work by helping each other.

I am interested in FSWP 2014. Is it worth it if I start the process this late? I hope to be able to complete WES, IELTS and make other documents ready by mid October 2014. My profile is below -

NOC - 1111
Age - 32
Education - ACCA member + BSc Degree (Oxford Brookes University, UK)
Experience - 5 years
IELTS - 7.5 (in each module but academic)

I have similar qualification. First things first you have to get the General IELTS and try to score good band to increase your points. You also need to get ECA (I did mine with WES and they gave me 3 yrs for ACCA and 4 yrs for OBU) you send copy of your certificate to WES and contact ACCA and OBU to send the transcripts directly to WES (OBU will charge you courier fee of GBP 10 per documents and if you want express then you have to pay GBP 25 extra .. This can be done online through http://shop.brookes.ac.uk/browse/product.asp?catid=196&modid=1&compid=1) Also you need to get reference letter from your employer with the job description, date of joining and salary details. Make sure your JD 80% matches the NOC (Not word for wide though but ensure key words). Please feel free to ask any question at this forum. It is very helpful and free.

I never had a birth certificate from Pakistan, got one issued recently from Pakistan in June 2014 especially for FSWP application. The document had 'Birth Registration Certificate' mentioned on it with details such name full name, DOB, Parents name, place of birth. I had sent the same certificate copy attested by the ministry of foreign affairs in Pakistan.

Century, that is a great idea. Wouldn't that make it obvious to CIC though that I was the one who wrote the reference letter and that my employer just signed it? Isn't that a problem?
