Hello everyone.
I am a 8th may 2132 applicant, i had sent a mail on 23rd june requesting to know the status of mail, below is the mail:
(I had initially attached normal passport size photos and after realizing my error i had resent proper visa photos.
Following is the reply i received today:
Good Afternoon:

New Photos were received and attached to your file.

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 3 July 2014. It was deemed incomplete. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

We do not keep detailed records of each application returned so I am unable to provide more case specific details.


Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Applications are not sent via courier.

I am preparing another application right now & don't want the same mistakes to occur this time.
The problem area according to me in the first application were:
1. Birth certificate without my name (It had required copies, translation & affidavit)
2. Reference letter with only 20-30% matching with NOC description.

Which of the above points would have caused my application to be deemed incomplete.

To address the above points, i have done:
1. Same birth certificate set with 10th marksheet which has all required info
2. New experience letter with 60-70% matching but on a plain a4 sheet signed by my supervisor.

Need your help urgently as i am almost ready to send my 2nd application.

U can do a few other things as well
1) For BC - u can get a signed affidavit from a notary public on a 20Rs. Stamp paper stating your Date of birth clearly.
2) for experience certificate visit CIC website where u will find the JOB list under NOC 2132. Make ur Experience letter in accordance with the details in this page. this should gaurentee a better chance, although i not sure sure about whether ur application will make the cap.

12 May DD should chill .. give it a week. All Banks dont exactly find out immediately ...

No, DD not to be come into India physically. They do it electronically. But as there are many parties (CIO, clearing house, drawee bank at Canada, your bank at India), it takes time to complete the full transaction.

Thanks century for such a positive reply and do you have any idea about DD clearence whether DD come to india via post or they adopt any other process...

Wondering if printing all forms and filling out with pen is better or typing and printing is better. Typing looks neat but for some fields there are very less room for typing whats required..such as "Main duties" of Job experience. Any suggestion?? :S

Hi Guys,

What is the email address for CIC? I am May 23rd applicant waiting for CC to get charged. I want them to consider my H1B visa extension document which i will get this week most likely. I wrote an explanation letter in the original package. Can i send the document now?
