Do you know anything about the validity period of DD issued by SCB bangladesh?
13th august will be 3month of my DD :-(

thank you all for your effort.

Valid for 6 months from date of issue. This is mentioned on all SCB Bangladesh DD's.

@ visa_4all

Find response below in red text, point is you can use either the NOC title or one of the JOb titles.......... both are acceptable .......... personally i prefer Job title as usually NOC title has broader scope and job title shows clarity of your mind but in your case as title reflects progression, you may consider using NOC title in "intended occupation"

+1

Thanks

As long as PER is concerned, no issue. I just re-checked mine now and found that field is spotless. Address field is also clean, fresh, and pristine. ;D ;D

Thank God your Mom is asking and that too just for PER... My Wife directly asks me that when are we going to Canada... She does not want to listen anything about PER, AOR etc etc... :'( :'( So, you can say to your Mom if all goes well final decision will be made by Apr-May 2015 for you..
To explain further you can say that if "I would have sent my application on 1st May and also if my VO would have been CPC-O then I would have got the PR by now instead of PER"...
And simple explaination is that CIC is reviewing 5 to 10 applications per day but inflow of application is 30 to 40 per day :-) and therefore there is a backlog...
If nothing works then switch off your phone or add "Call Forwarding" to CIC customer center number and your Mom will directly talk to CIO and scold then what they are doing.. :P :P

;D ;D ;D

@ jaxon,

Thks for sharing this.. +1 to you :)

I'm not sure if you Applied on your own or hired a Rep.. but curious to know is it a common practice with Consultants/ Immig. Lawyer to enclose a Cover letter.. and any idea, if they use a similar format ?

@neel-here

I did not hire a representative or an adviser. I would assume that good consultants would include a cover letter. A good cover letter with well structured explanation of the overall circumstances only makes it easier to navigate documents for the person reviewing the file. Imagine you're a person reviewing someone's file for PER, and you still have lots and lots of files to go thru, would you like to have a letter that provides information about structure of all documents in the package? Every person's situation is different, some people are claiming majority of points thru IELTS and Work ex, while some other are claiming more points for adaptability based on Canadian connection etc. In short, a good cover letter leaves a good first impression, IMO.

My friends and dear admins,

Happy to announce that my ECAS has been updated.. After long long time I can see that my efforts were worked out and able to see first indication from CIC for my application.. :) :)
Congrats abhi bro

I did not get increment this year as i am leaving office and going CANADA!!! :-X

JOB REFERENCE LETTER :(

Thanks @ashif_eee for that very detailed process flow explanation.

I just have a question, since the process flow clearly indicates that ECAS is updated after PER, is it safe to assume that those who has their ECAS updated (received application on xxx date) has maybe, 99% clear chance of getting PER? ;)

Dear members:

I am submitting a new application (previous application has spouse birth certificate missing). Please see below cover letter, your advice/suggestions required:

I, (), born on () applied for FSW application received by CIC on July 3, 2014. However, I made a mistake in my application as copy of original birth certificate of my spouse was left missing. Therefore, I am submitting a new application. I have enclosed my completed application forms with required supporting documents.
