I have applied FSWP 2014 in 2174 category and received PER
I have sent my file from USA and put Visa office as New Delhi, does anybody know will my VO will be changed by CIC as USA Applicant
I have seen some cases sent from USA which have got medical request, as USA files are being processed with great speed.

What is your immigration status in the USA?

The courier receipt will not work. I have tried it that way and failed.

They accept PER/AOR mails as a proof.

My local IELTS provider told that any email from/to a Canadian VISA office will do. If you haven't got any email yet, then I guess they may accept the courier receipt of the application package sent to CIO. I am not sure though.

How about a scan of the IMM 0008 application?

letters you received from CIC,
your immigration document such as a PR card, study or work permit.

If you do not have any of these documents but want to fill out an application form:you can leave the field for UCI (Client ID) blank.
Note: If you have not dealt with CIC since 1973, you will not have a UCI or a Client ID.

If you are applying to CIC for the first time
You will not yet have a client ID. If so, and you are filling out a form that asks for one, write “Not Applicable” or “N/A” in the space provided.

If you are applying online and the form does not allow you to input “N/A,” leave the space blank.

I am going to apply only for myself, Can I get points if I show my wife IELTS mark in that case?

What is the minimum amount of money that I should show as prof of fund ? myself and my wife, no child
Can I show my PF (Provident Fund) money also as part of proof of fund ?

Hi All,

I am enquiring about the application I sent to CIC for FSW program. Following is the detailed information:

NOC code: 2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers
Demand Draft Date: 2nd may 2014
Application Despatched : 6th may 2014
Application received by CIO: 12th may 2014

My point of concern is that it is about to be 3 months that I haven't heard from CIC and my DD is expiring tomorrow. What will be done in that case? Any suggestions? I am tensed

Now I have also heard that CIC generates a temporary file number and asks for the payment to be made if DD expires.. Is that true?

I want to check my ECAS status, I am 9th May applicant, DD charged.
I read in this forum that one can do this by providing last year UCI but I am not able to do so. I dint provide my last year UCI while filing application this year.
Assuming that CIC stores my UCI anyways and checking E-CAS status using last year UCI but unable to do so.
Any other method to check or call CIC

Yes you can get points for your wife ielts score

Minimum amount for 2 adults that needs to be shown is $14,720 Canadian dollar
Yes, pf can be shown as proof of funds.
