I took IELTS on 26th May 2012. As per CIC, it should have expired on 25th May 2014. My application reached on 9th May 2014.

This should not be the reason for rejection.

Still waiting for my package. Will let everyone know what was missing from my application.

If it was something too stupid, I won't share. ;D

My application got rejected for not providing Proof of a completed foreign educational credential along with ECA. I provided the ECA but didn't provide the degree certificate. I have to resubmit my application quickly. I have a few questions regarding the reapplication.

1 - When they returned my application, there was a UCI number filled in it. Can I reuse the UCI number.
2 - I applied under the 2174 category. Is there still a chance of getting through in that category.
3 - Is there any other category which is similar to 2174.
4 - I'm applying from USA. Which is the best Visa Immigration Office to apply to. I initially applied with Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Dear Seniors,

My case is also similar to satishblazers. My file was returned for the same reason and I also got UCI filled in my return application.
I applied for 2146 last year but its not open now so i am planning to apply for 2132 this time.My concern is do they have the record for my previous application.Do I need to mention the UCI in new application.My job duties are matching for both the NOC.Will there be any issue for changing the NOC?

1. Will UCI number changes for every year when I called to Cic they gave me client id of 8 digits
2. How can I check my status where I tried to check it was saying that we cannot recognise you
What does it mean
3. Where we have to use "-" after 4 digits while checking in ecas?

I can understand ur pain as i had a similar experience from last year fsw and payment got deducted and i didnt get my file back

But this year i got Nomination from Nova Scotia.

UCI doesn't change. If it doesn't recognize you, it only means that your case is not yet updated in the system. You can either use "-" or enter only 8 digits, either of these work. Also, you can enter surname in any case.
Wait for some more time, it should be updated anytime soon for you.

Hi seniors,

I am planning to change reciepient address in WES to my brother's current canada address and i will send my application package to him now so that he can add original ECA to the package and send to CIC.

probably i can save around 8-10 days of time by doing this. Can some body please advice me whether it is a good idea or not? will WES send report to the changed address even though i have already payed for International courier.?

P.S: I am worried because i m applying for 2173

Yes, I did the same thing.
My WES report has been delivered to my brother's address. No issue for that.

Unfortunate, but the truth is that there is no one who is willing to assist me on this point in my previous organisation with regards to reference letter, for the one before that I dont have any one to assist me since all my colleagues have either left or the once which are left are/were not my supervisors, rather they all are at junior levels which is making me more difficult to get this done.

I dont know how rite that will be, but I have arranged for some letter heads of my previous organisation, I can type out the reference letter myself and put one of my colleagues name/number on it. But i dont know what will happen if they call them for a reference check. I am not writing anything wrong or fake but just that bcos the company policy doesent allow me to get anything on a letterhead it is becoming a problem.

i heard people telling about reference letter on plain paper...will the reference letter on a plain paper work? if so then what all additional document would be required along with it
