I have applied for FSW 2014 through consultancy under NOC 1112. My file delivered date was on May 19th and my payment mode is through credit card. I am yet to receive any notification from CIC, Can any one please tell me how will I know if my file has been processed or has been rejected.
Consultant says that if the credit card payment is through then only we will come to know that the file has been taken for processing, Is it true?? Are there any chances that the file is processed and the payment is taken at the later stages?? I have applied as a couple with 72 Points.

Experts please share your thoughts.

CIC is only up to applications received on May 12th. So you will be waiting a while. Check your CC or enable SMS notifications to know ASAP when your card has been charged.

Seems CIC is again slow in sending PER emails... it is in one's and two's per day as per forumities update... May be they are issuing more out of forumities.... But still huge number of applicants for 7th May.. :o :o :o :o :o :o

Unless you plan to live in Quebec you probably don't need French. You will see French everywhere as it is required on lots of signs and notices, but learning it is not a necessary preparation for living in Canada. But if you are interested in French then by all means learn! Laissez les bon temps roullez!

You can only get points for the wife's education if it was done in Canada. There is no need to have Canadian education evaluated.
 
hello friends

i am in a bit of a dilemma again . i am self employed and am applying for noc 0113 (purchasing manager) . i was hoping to send my documents sometime next week . my job description though self attested is supported with reference letters of clients and various other documents which are all authentic. i was very confident as my paperwork is very meticulous and file seems quite impressive till i came across a post which stated some reasons of rejection and SELF ATTESTED DECLARATION being one of them .
do i have a reason to worry because i am self employed? are there any specific documents that should be given by self employed persons ?
when i searched google it invariably directs towards this thread only :)
