My boss and HR are unwilling to provide the reference letter. Does reference letter from Head of another department in my company will suffice ?

It doesn't have to be your HR .....any superior manager or head of other department may 3rite and sign it.....provided its same company.
You are safe.
Also ,try to get an affidavit in place too.

CIC reads your proof or document which is the actual reference letters. From the form you can select 3-4 lines from your reference letters. The actual document matters most.

Thanks for ur reply For me delivery to india they are charging $85 for quick international courier. Anyway that is a backup plan that i am thinking of, by the way where are you from.

Also,get an affidavit to explain the reason why.
I'm curious why your boss is not willing to give you such recommendation!Is it against company policy?
If it is against it,an affidavit will be much more preferable.

How can you get another copy of your IELTS TRF from IDP India? I am thinking of sending a fresh set and don't have the original IELTS as the same was sent across with my original application.

You have show some proof that you have applied for PR. It could be any communication from CIC. If you haven't heard from CIC yet, you can share your application mailing details. They will mail you a form, fill it, attach the communication proof. IDP will charge Rs. 250 for ordinary post delivery or Rs. 1250 for express delivery.

I have contacted IDP for a second copy of my IELTS score card.
I was told that they gonna issue only if I provide them with a proof of communication with CIC.

I havent filed my application yet as I am waiting for my ECA report from WES. Is it really mandatory to have 2 copies of IELTS score cards at the time of filing the application ?

Kindly guide me in this regard.

Your question seems ambiguous to me.
British council or idp mostly issue out just fine copy of your IELTS result to you after the exam.
The process of getting a 2nd copy may sometimes be cumbersome....but some get it depending on there locations.
My understanding is that you have used your first copy of your IELTS which is why you are looking for a second copy.

You can adopt a two-prong strategy:

Since you get Two copies of ECA from WES.. why don't you send One of ECA score to CIO with an Explanation letter to consider 'Additional Documents' with your Original submission. You have nothing to loose but 1 Courier charges... if they dont Accept they will return but imagine if they Accept you are bingo ! 8)

In the meantime you can ready your another New Application

My worry is if i send another set of package and will be it considered duplicate?

Dont they have any mechanism in place to consider such situations or procedure to send one original document. Anybody workign with a lawyer and a consultant what do they say in such situations.

I got the additional copy of IELTS in 7 days with the payment option of 1250. This is the fastest option for getting result soon.

How much time does the local VO provides to submit PCC from home country and other countries where you had stayed for more than 6 months? Is it 30 or 60 days?
There was a post from someone stating that the Manila office asked to submit PCC in 30 days.

Hi everyone,

after carefully examining current trends and cross-checking various ways to estimate when caps will be filled, I believe there's a high chance FSW 2014 program will end accepting new applications earlier (on December 31, 2014) than the caps will be filled

Even for the hottest NOCs (1112, 2173, 2174), the projected last date when it should be safe to file an application is very far, in October-December - AND it's only if the current amounts of new applications received daily will continue as is towards the end without decreasing, which is a very conservative assumption: the amounts usually decrease over time.

Many applications were received in the first two weeks, - so even though the current official application counts are rather impressive - 106 apps out of 1000 for NOC 2174, for apps received by May 6-7, - it should not be a reason to worry, there's still enough left to fit all the existing applications and probably all future applications until the end of the program.

I've noticed this several days ago, when the new caps were published, but wanted to cross-check and calculate everything for sure before posting.

Edit: this message didn't account for the fact that FSWP 2014 will most probably end on April 30, 2015 (not in December 2014, as one might believe after reading what the cap update page says). By April 30, 2015, given the current data, it's possible that we'll get up to 6 hottest NOCs full, but likely less than that.

I have same status, I think most of forum members went through this. PER emails, as I have seen can come from anywhere between 5 days to 35 days.
