Which country(ies) have you lived in outside your home country, if any?

US, France, Hungary, Singapore and Malaysia. Guess you thought I may not have ever stepped out my comfort zone?

Actually DHL uses Loomis Express service to deliver it on the final stretch to Sydney. It may be delivered tomorrow or day after. You may place a request with DHL to inform you the new Loomis Express reference which will provide you details as received by whom and at what time. DHL site would only show delivered status after a delay of approx 1 working day and would not even mention the name of the person who signed for it.
thanks for info

Use UPS if possible, they are the best (read, quickest) for North America delivery. Will charge about INR 3200.

FedEx will also charge about the same. DHL may charge about 2500-3000, I am not very sure of their current charges but they charged about 3000 a year ago. DHL is the slowest of the three, quite miserable actually if you are in a hurry. Only if time is not important go for them.

PS - You can call UPS's 1800 number given on the website and arrange a pick up from home for this price. Get the price quote on phone itself.

Friend, I merely asked a simple question, albeit my first one to understand you better! Don't jump to conclusion so soon, pal, I did not assume that about you. And that is why I asked you instead. It seems reading some articles you might have jumped to conclusion very soon. I am trying to help you understand what you are asking, but also need to understand you better first, right? :) Next, what did you do in each of these countries and for how long in each? Like for example, see below:
US - 1 month - Went on holiday
France - 2 years - Studied my masters
etc.
US - 7 times till now. ( Once for 6 months, remaining all trips between 3 weeks to 3 months) all work related trip.

France - 3 weeks work related

Hungary - 2 Months work related

Singapore and Malaysia: A Month ( Personal Trip)

need opinion from those who have applied for noc 2132 (mechanical engineer ) category. Can any of you tell me if my duties are relevant for this noc.i am a mechanical engineer and working as inspection engineer in a company.i am posting both type of duties that are given as a sample and my actual duties that i perform .i know it will take your few precious minutes and i am thankful for that.

Mechanical engineers perform some or all of the following duties:
• Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems
• Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems
• Design power plants, machines, components, tools, fixtures and equipment
• Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures
• Supervise and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems at construction sites or in industrial facilities
• Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs and provide guidance to industrial maintenance crews
• Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
• Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance
• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates.

My duties are:
• Preparation of bids/proposals, tenders, contract documents and their addition on PBT (Piping & backlog tool) on regular basis for industrial activities.
• Evaluation of projects and inspection plans, monitoring inspectors, supervisors and site staff engineers for QA/QC maintenance issues.
• Preparation of project instructions for site staff and supervisors, collection of data and technical report writing for clients as per project specifications.
• Scheduling and monitoring of mechanical equipment inspection at different sites and resolving maintenance problems.
• Coordination with international offices for procurement & expediting issues, including shop fabrication inspections.
• Analysing project cost and feasibility reports for optimization of maintenance issues.
• Ensuring implementation of quality control procedure and recruiting technical staff according to job requirements.
Your duties looks more of an industrial engineering type. However, they do match with mechanical engineer duties. So you should be fine.

Okay, great! Since you have stayed a little longer in USA and Hungary, let's take that. How do you compare the two? In terms of job opportunities, quality of life etc. etc. Let's get your point of view on this!
US - AMAZING....Paradise on earth. Lots of opprtunity for everyone. For all classes and masses.
Hungary - Worse. A very communist mindset, They would never accomodate someone from outside.

I dont think this back and forth is helping anyone. If you have any point, come straight to it please

My dear aav

i would like to live in a utopian country..but it simply does not exist...
There are people who would never be happy.. they will try to find fault in everything..
Some cannot adjust in canada and they are in denial, so they badmouth it..

before we belive in such discussion on some forams....what i would like to tell u is that is look at the number of people who have
gone to canada and have setteled....they are far in excess that the people who are cribbing about lack of this and that..
those people were not happy in their own country thats why they went to canada, and now they are not even happy there...
So in short "" THEY FIND PROBLEM IN MIRROR WHAT IN FACT IS THEIR FACE""

UCI is Unique Client ID provided by CIC to each applicant and it remains same through out your life. It is an 8 digit number with no alphabets and is used to track status of one's application and for any correspondence of your case with CIC / CIO. If you had applied in previous years, your returned package would have the UCI number; first time applicants will get that I think with their PER. I sent package from NCR area on May 2nd!
last year my application returned back to me due to cap filled. I noticed lastweek that they provided some number in the UCI column.
But i haven't write it down on the application in this year. My application reached on May 7th itself.

Is there any problem without writing the UCI number which i got last year?

Positive Eligibility Review, usually sent through email, if u have provided one otherwise through snail mail.

Once CIC determines that your application is complete, CC/DD is charged. After that initial review is conducted by CIC or most probably completness is once again checked by senior staff. After that file is transferred to respective VO.
