In canada on student Visa
I am thinking of applying to NOC 2172 but my designation is Systems Engineer. My company keeps designations generic for all roles. And they also are not ready to give me the job duties on letter head(it being one of the largest MNCs). Now my confusion is my designation matches to 2173/4 but the duties to 2172. Any suggestions what should I go with?

Perfect

I was just thinking as to how will they make out after looking at all papers that I have six years of experience.

U know the whole bunch of papers together etc..

My employer gave the letter saying
Job description certificate

Another one just gave experience certificate with all duties and responsibilities mentioned..

I hope that's OK... 8)

Hello Hina, I guess that 'send' means send to CIO and not to WES, right? Yes it would be good to send graduation mark sheets along with degree and ECA report (mark sheet is not mandatory, but is a good idea).

CIC already has a Document Checklist that covers all documents (you need to tick sections that apply to you and you have attached documents for). You can also add a cover letter if you like (normally cover letter is to explain circumstances where you were not able to provide what they ask for, and why was that the case and what have you provided instead etc.). Doesn't matter if they use it as a tissue paper or toilet paper (pun intended) as long as they give you a PER is my take! :p

My dear fellow boarders and brothers:

The more I google or read about what successful migrates have to say about their experience living in canada, the more I become anxious and start thinking if this is really worth all the effort, money and most importantly investing your years of life.

Some very depressing stories out there. Some say its a country full of opprtuntiy for less skillful, and a total shocker for skillful migrants.
some say it takes years to even get a job in your field. Others quote that despite of having highest degree and once well paying job in their home country, they surrender to doing odd jobs like driving cab, cashier in a restaurant, etc

I dont want to believe this, but really google it and see it yourself. I did not honestly come across even a single story that was satisfying and met migrants expectation. All very depressed people out there. And a very large number of migrants return after 3-4 years of hard struggle to find peace and stability back home.

Is this all true guys?

I have made up my mind. I will not think to settle unless I find a decent job in my field. I will definately not shift with family initially. I will give myself 1 year max.

You will always find those people because they went with too high expectations...but you need to know that when you land you may need to compromise with the job that you get. However, once you have local experience then you would be able to land in a job that you want.
Moreover, I do have examples from both sides of the world however, the people with negative experience were not ready to sacrifice for the first few months and ended up with low level jobs but do you know how many percent of people are there like that? ( I would say 10%).

I also know a few who are there for 7-8 years now and have their own homes and car and are living happily.

Please share the link where you read it.

Go for 2172.
Only duties and responsibilities need to match with desired NOC. The designation name being different is not much of a problem.

Actually DHL uses Loomis Express service to deliver it on the final stretch to Sydney. It may be delivered tomorrow or day after. You may place a request with DHL to inform you the new Loomis Express reference which will provide you details as received by whom and at what time. DHL site would only show delivered status after a delay of approx 1 working day and would not even mention the name of the person who signed for it.
