Dear friends,

In generic application form i couldn't give some information like p.o box (i don't have and where i couldn't write N/A only numbers accepted), expiry of national id (because there is no expiry) and so on.

So after validating,can i write N/A in po box column and Life time in Id locum with black pen ?

Please help me

You may use black pen to write it if you can't do it electronically.

Alternatives to birth certificate are as follows in CIC's own words

We do accept Secondary school records that contain the following :

Applicant's Name
Date of Birth
Name of Parent/Parents

If you are not able to provide a Birth certificate with all 3 criteria, we require an affidavit stating all of this information or that a Birth certificate cannot be attained.

So 10th standard school certificate or an affidavit containing applicants name, date of birth and Parent/Parents name should be fine in lieu of a birth certificate. Also you must give reason in a cover letter why you were not able to provide birth certificate and that you are providing 10th standard school certificate / affidavit in lieu of birth certificate.

I have a question here. Suppose I am the principle applicant and my wife does not have a birth certificate. In this case I have to provide an affidavit on behalf of her mentioning her DOB and her parents name. Is my understanding correct ?

I have some doubts about educational documents. My education is B Sc Nursing.

In the check list they mentioned "Submit an ECA report along with proof of the foreign educational credential(s) for which you are claiming points".They don't specifically mentioned to submit all documents as in 2012 FSW check list.

So,we need to send original ECA report with all educational certificates ie 10th,Plus Two and B Sc (with transcript) ?


I have licence in Two Nursing Council ( Two States) as a Registered Nurse.In the check list they only mentioned about educational documents only.
So i need to send licence certificates?

1. Processing times depends on the Visa office. I am not sure if you will be called so soon i.e. by Nov 2014. If you get an extension better select Newyork as your presence is required.

3 and 4 is discussed many times here. Please check mate. But below are mandates

Work experience requirement:


1. Job duties on Company Letter head.
2. Full time /Working hour should be mentioned.
3. Company's seal if applicable

Additional:

5. Appointment/contract letter
6. Payslip (3 months will be enough)
7. Business card of applicant and referee (reference letter's).

Can I give payment using Credit Card? I'm from Bangladesh but currently I'm working in Maldives. I've Maldivian bank card (USD A/C) which is acceptable world wide. Is it OK to pay via this card if I have the money and validity of the card (validity up to 2018)? Please guide me. Thanks in advance.

Hi Lemon I am indian in Maldives. Applying in FSWP in this year. I am in Male'. If you want be in touch. If possible check with the bank before you apply and keep the necessary amount all the time in your account. Do u have account in BML or SBI or HSBC?

You misunderstood me.
What I meant is that IDP or British council can send your IELTS result by sending your overall package for you.
This is how it works.......
You bring your completed application to their office and ask them to send the package on your behalf to cic......this is after you must have paid the courier charge for sending it.
All they need do is to insert it for you in the package after you must have handed over an already addressed package.
They won't send it only....but they will send your application to cic after inserting your original IELTS result in it.
Hope you understand my illustration now?

High Possibility mate if you dont get your extension before submission.

This is why it's in their written policy to send the original IELTS on behalf of candidates to any destination of their choicdmafter you pay the courier charge.
On immigration issues....the result need to be in package to be accepted so British council normally accept to send the package on your behalf.......I'm not telling you about theories.....it is what i have practically accomplished.
I'm advising based on my experience.

Will it help, if I get a letter from my employer saying that thye do not issue letters like that.

Also, I have my US visa documents that detail my job responsibilities..... will it help if I attach that as support.
