Plan to send out application tonight for 1123. Almost done !!! Pls help on following

1). RE. UCI
Have a UCI number assigned last 2011 when our application was returned due to cap reached
Our consultant said leave UCI blank in form now since my husband is applying for a different NOC .

Is this correct ?


2 ). In the Generic application form ( IMM 0008) , number 11 question is ,
Date and place of your last entry to Canada

How come you cannot type info / answer in this space when we encode on the computer. ????

Can we just print form and just handwrite answer for this question 11.

Is that ok ?

If you selected current country of residence any country other than Canada, question 11 will be automatically greyed out. No need to fill that section.

It is a requirement for actually been hired in most Canadian universities, but it is not necessary for applying to fsw, some of the current applicants to noc 4011 are applying with bachelor degree.

I, (first name,last name)........................... on behalf of myself and all dependents included in this application, authorize citizenship...

I'm a registered nurse. On the reference letter under the work experience category, is it really necessary to have a job description stated there? Because being an accident & emergency nurse I think is pretty clear cut. My reference letter was written by my head nurse 2 years ago and she's in another country already.

What to do?

Help needed for NOC 0111,

I am also planning to apply under 0111. I am bit confused as my job duty match with 0111 and 1112 partially. I have checked with 0111 JD, and found it match with my JD. Still want to cross check with just to get enough confidence on JD. Please see my responsibility below and confirm if you think if this is okay for 0111. Thanks for your cooperation. One more thing, I am given short description and short job title in Economic form IMM0008 and giving additional page giving full detail of all JDs. Please confirm if you think this is okay as well. Hi Bijoy

Your question is a bit tricky one to answer so perhaps you haven't got responses so far. The way I see your JD, it is a bit of 0111 and 1112 but not quite either of them at the same time. For main responsibility of 0111, your JD should demonstrate that you were leading a team/finance department and reporting directly to a board/senior management team. So staff management and implementation of accounting procedure, financial planning including budgeting and forecasting and financial reporting to management etc would be main part of JD. From NOC 1112 JD lists, I think 1112 is more focused on investment and financial planning & analysis type of work.

Perhaps you can modify your JD wordings to show how directly you report to senior managements and also show your direct involvement in financial planning and how your financial analysis critically impacted business decision making process. If you have staff management experience, please do mention that.

I am not sure how ready your other docs like IELTS and WES are at this point but it would be a safe choice to go for 0111 than 1112 as 1112 cap will reach sooner than 0111.

Please do get professional opinions from trustworthy agents as well on this if you can find a good one. Otherwise, submitting two applications for both 0111 and 1112 is also an option.

Here is how I got my additional TRF of IELTS.

I had applied for IELTS exam through IDP education India and I do not know if the same would work for those taking the exam from British Council. I took a print out of the form on the IDP website for requesting additional TRF and filled in all the details. I ensured that the mailing address was mine and not any other agency. I visited the IDP office on St. Marks Rd - Bangalore, handed over the form to the receptionist, paid 1250 Rs and I was told that I would get the results in two weeks. I applied on 22nd May 2014 and I got the additional TRF on 5th June 2014.

Hope this is helpful for others trying to get an additional copy of IELTS!!!

What proof of CIC application did you submit to IDP IELTS?

In my case they are treating me like a thief; yelled at me when I called them.

You have to mention your intended NOCs in three places:
1. At generic form
2. Schedule 3
3. In the address on the envelope

I think having reference letters is a good idea even if you deaignation sounds good .. Here lots are software engineers .. Having exact designation as CIC wants but they stillcollect reference letters ..
It's good to have supporting documentation ..
Send that letter which is two years old also try to get a latest one from your colleague .. This will help certainly
