What proof of CIC application did you submit to IDP IELTS?
In my case they are treating me like a thief; yelled at me when I called them.

I am surprised that you have been treated this way!! Which IDP center?
I did nothing but orally say that I have applied for Canadian Immigration and did not provide any proof as such. I guess I turned out to be lucky!
I'd suggest that you go there at a different time than your previous attempt. A different receptionist might probably work in your favor
I went to the IDP center in the afternoon between 2 and 4!

Hi seniors

Noticed that in our Bank Certificate issued , our bank addressed the certificate to " embassy of Canada ". Address makati city, Philippnes Purpose is for : application for VISA

Is this ok ?

We are sending out application tonight and just noticed this now

I think having reference letters is a good idea even if you deaignation sounds good .. Here lots are software engineers .. Having exact designation as CIC wants but they stillcollect reference letters ..
It's good to have supporting documentation ..
Send that letter which is two years old also try to get a latest one from your colleague .. This will help certainly

I guess this is my fault thinking that since being a nurse is clear cut, job description is not needed anymore on the reference letter. Thank you for the info!

- sending original experience letter as I have two original copy
- Using paper clip to separate one form from another (document check list mentioned to leave it unbind)
- Notarized copy of photo copy items
- Photo will be attached by a paper clip with generic form
- DD will be attached with payment form
- document placement order would be as per document check list

Please help with with your view, and let me know if I have missed anything.

I am paying by DD, so In Section-A should i write in N/A in all the 3 fields like this:

Name of Principal Applicant: N/A
Name of Payer: N/A
Address of Payer: N/A

(Note: i am filling forms by myself

Hi Bijoy

Your question is a bit tricky one to answer so perhaps you haven't got responses so far. The way I see your JD, it is a bit of 0111 and 1112 but not quite either of them at the same time. For main responsibility of 0111, your JD should demonstrate that you were leading a team/finance department and reporting directly to a board/senior management team. So staff management and implementation of accounting procedure, financial planning including budgeting and forecasting and financial reporting to management etc would be main part of JD. From NOC 1112 JD lists, I think 1112 is more focused on investment and financial planning & analysis type of work.

Perhaps you can modify your JD wordings to show how directly you report to senior managements and also show your direct involvement in financial planning and how your financial analysis critically impacted business decision making process. If you have staff management experience, please do mention that.

I am not sure how ready your other docs like IELTS and WES are at this point but it would be a safe choice to go for 0111 than 1112 as 1112 cap will reach sooner than 0111.

Please do get professional opinions from trustworthy agents as well on this if you can find a good one. Otherwise, submitting two applications for both 0111 and 1112 is also an option.

Other finance professionals, please give your opinions too!

It should have been The Royal Bank Of Canada...


Any other applicant---having the similar name on the DD??

I am not sure why they put this bank since this DD will be encashed by CIO-Canada not on Manila/Philippines...

1. Not necessary to send original. Since you have two you can send.

2.Leave it unbound means leave it unbound , do not need to use paper clip to separate the form. Use paper clips to attach photos and DD

3.Not necessary, but its fine. Any translated copy must be notarized, furnished with affidavit from translator, certified copy of the original and the actual translation

6.Bar code pages on top , then you can arrange as per document checklist

Don't forget to include the checklist itself and sign all the necessary forms.

Principal applicant: your name

Name and address of payer : If you are not the payer then include the payers name and address

He /she is talking about the bank certificate not the DD. It is not necessary to address any one on the bank certificate.

Anybody has sent application for FSW 2014 2173,2174,2176?.

I need to find out how to track application. I have sent my application 2 weeks ago and delivered to CIO sydney after 4 days. When will I come to know whether my application has been approved and file number is generated?
