Hi guys,

In FSW 2013 sheet, I don't see any "File Transferred to Local VO" date for CPP-O (named CPC-O this year) cases. Does that mean CPC-O applications are checked by CIC and they only send Medical Requests? What is the role of CPC-O in these. Please clarify.

The respective local visa offices commences their own share of work after CIC stops at PERS notification.
They are involved in more than 80% lf the whole process.

Thanks for ur response. Yes thats what I understand but my question is why the CPP-O files dont show transferred to VO date whereas all other than CPP-O cases show file transfer dates.

Not all visa office notifies applicants of their file transfers.
My local visa office in Accra doesn't notifies applicants of the acknowledgement of receipts of their application packages so there is no way to know the file transfer dates so I guess its same with CPP-O too.
It's not only CPP-O but Accra visa office too doesn't snow file transfer dates like others.
We need to understand their modulus operandi and accept it with them.

Atleast 1 week. Also some banks provide the information while some doesn't.

Anyway it takes atleast 10 working days on an average to get PER after your application is processed and that is the only option for DD applications.

Hi Are you from Bangladesh ? So change in DD status can only be seen by Bank authority or by applicant himself ?

I wonder if I should wait until notification from CIC before I apply for police clearances. I submitted my application on 11 May, though was, told the chance of getting into quota is slim. I need police clearances from Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, UAE, USA, Japan and Taiwan. I can only get my USA police clearance at the end of July. Would be too late? Thanks.

During initial years of my career(1.2 yrs) I had job title as Software Engineer...which falls under 2173...

Right now I have six years of total experience and work as Test Analyst....Does it affect my experience point calculation? Bcos if I apply as SE I would get 9 points only...
Will I get points for the other experience that I had in testing i.e. around 5 years?

Can anyone please help on above?

for listening, i think level 7. if you get 7.5, it will be level 8.

nope bro...its a very minor issue...actually its not a mistake..Document checklist guides u to send copies only....Also NID has most of the English info...

I got a text from ICICI bank last evening that new card has been dispatched automatically. I immediately called up their customer care to find out what was happening.

I was told that as per latest RBI guidelines, all CC's without a chip would be replaced by a credit card with chip and pin for enhanced security. Unfortunately, this means change of credit card number and blocking of our previous card. I somehow managed to convince them to put on hold the blocking of my previous card.

I request all of you to check the same with your banks if you don't have a credit card with chip.

My aim is not to create panic and hope it helps everyone!!
