I think updating others will set their expectation. Actually, the process takes much more than what I expected, but as this is normal I keep positive

please let me know that how many points I score for FSW I have already applied under my wife's name and have sent the file but I have got confusion in total points. We are three people me, My wife and my child. My wife age is 34, mine is 35 and son age age is 3.
1. Bachelors 3 yrs and Masters 3 yrs - verified by WES
2. Ielts- Listening-6, Reading-6, Writing-6.5, Speaking-6
3. Experience- 5+
4. Age-34

1.23points.
2.17points
3.13points
4.12points.
Total.....65points.
If this is the application you have sent initially,it may not be positive since you are short of two points to meet the minimum points for eligibility unless ofcourse your years of experience was 6 years.
I will advice you to write an IELTS to support your wife with additional five points since it seems she's the principal applicant.With a score of atleast 4bandmarks in each of the four tests....you will add 5 points to make your total shoot up to 70points.

If the scenario you gave in your explanation is anything to go buy,I'm afraid you may need to write the test to support her.

This is with reference to my Immigration application under the Federal Skilled Worker program (NOC 2171) dated 24-May-2014. My app got delivered on 28th May 2014. Along with my aforesaid Immigration application, I had included Fee Payment Form for payment of CAD 1,100 towards application for Permanent Residence. My credit card details that were entered in the aforesaid fee payment form have been compromised and hence, Bank of America has blocked my credit card.

What should I do in this situation? Please advise.

I already tried to contact Bank of America and they said that they cannot do anything as there was a compromise in credit card information & hence it had to be blocked and the payment will not go through if CIC tries it. I tried to give them various options like: keep an exact amount of CAD 1,100 open or keep the CIC merchant open but to no avail.

Please guide me in this situation what should I do!! An early response would be highly appreciated

I am getting date for Ielts only in July and will get the result latest by 25th July. If I send file again it will reach Sydney office only in first week of Aug. Will that be a possibility that my file will get consider under the cap of 1000 in NOC 2173

Yikes! Can you resend your application again (including the necessary original documents)? That's the only solution I can think of right now.

First off, calm down! They just started working on the first week of May's applications. The implied processing time on the CIC website is between 8 to 10 weeks. If you do not receive a response after 8 weeks of the CIO receiving your application, you can contact the CIO office via email.

Where did you get the information that all documents should be notarized. I did not see that anywhere in the FSWP requirements. Notarization or authentication is only related to translated documents which were not originally in English or French. Please check again and follow the document checklist to send documents only in their required formats .

THanks talk2meals ... so there is no need of notarize the copies , one of my friend is applying through an agent and he suggested to notarize all the copies so i am worried and cant find any relevant information on this , all my docs are in english .

Dependant's mark sheets aren't necessary, unless you wish to provide evidence of an accompanying spouse's previous study in Canada to get points under adaptability.

2)for the liabilities i use to have a educational loan which we cleared few weeks back and all the assets are not on my name so i cant declare them. and for funds i have savings in my home country and some savings in uk.
3) i got my ielts score yesterday, L 8.5 R 8.5 W 7.5 S 8.5 --- so i get 23points is this right ?---24
spouse ielts L 8.5 R 8.0 W 6.5 S 8.0 --- so i get 5points is this right ?--Right
Age 25 --- 12 points ? ---12
exp 1+ ---- 9 points----9
Masters degree (WES certified) --- 23 points-----23


Ohh one thing---Both u have excellent IELTS score...

As it is now,we just have to hope and pray for the best.
Personally ,I believe you will still meet the 1000 cap.You must understand that you must get everything in place.
Your wife's IELTS result will be needed for another application package so i suggest you start making plans to apply for a second original copy of her IELTS result now.Also,her original ECA report for her Msc degree well also be needed.
Other than these 2 original documents,i believe others are not hard to come by.PCC is also to be original if you are including it.
Which location are you as I'm surprised you could not get everything date for your IELTS test in June,2014.
