- Application was received at CIO on 4th July
- NOC 2145
- Payment was indicated as by CC
- Sent an e-mail to the CIO address since 30th September and no reply yet (Oct 25 makes 20 working days)
- Phone call to contact center has been a waste of time as they just advised to send an e-mail

Is there any early July applicant here that is also in the same boat? Please share

I am june 25th applicant and same thing happened to me. Sent an email on oct 3rd but no reply and on fone they gave the mailing address of cio.

I have applied in 1112 on 10 aug 13 and application received in cio 15 aug 13. I have madel an email enquiry and received reply on 10 oct 13. The reply was pls provide 10 weeks time create your database in our record. The cap was reached for this category on 23 aug 13. That means cap reached 8 th day after my application received. I am not sure that my application has fall within the cap. But my doubt if its like that why they want record in their database instead of send back file. Pls advice me.

Hello friends, this is my 1st post in the forum.

I applied under FSW-PhD stream, NOC:3131, file received on June 11, 2013. Money was taken from CC on Aug 21, 2013. points calculated: 77
I didn't get any email of any kind, neither did my representative. the status on CIC website was changed to (in process), and that's it. no response since money was withdrawn. I am in canada now (studying) and applied for CPP_O office, but i don't even know if my file was transferred there or not yet. i have some updates to my file (documents) but i don't know whether to send them to CIO-sydney or to CPP-O because they didn't send me any file number.

What do u think?

Your consultant should get PER mail till now. Ask them to check in all mail box (ie inbox, spam mail, junk mail etc).
if not getting mail than send CSE to CIC or call them about your application

please clear my few doubts
1) my brother is in Singapore and want to file under 2243 so which visa office he should mention in the form NDVO or Singapore VO??
2) proof of fund to be shown from singapore $ or INR ??
3) if he files in Jan 2014 NOC 2243 then what r the probable chances to be within the cap bcoz he will give IELTS in Dec 2013
4) he has done Diploma after 10th so SSC verification by WES is necessary?

Guys please could you advise on when would the new CAP be opened next year and would the categories (NOC) be the same as this time as I belong to 1112 and missed the cap this year with just 2 days till which the applications were received n cap was full.. Having a firm determination for the coming year and hence need to know and gradually re-appear for my IELTS as its now expired... Please advise.

Without getting any confirmation mail, how did you checked your status and found in process? I think there is a need of uci number. How did you get UCI number?

Dear Friends.
I want to know one thing from you all, specially from those people who have gone through the same situation like me.
My application was received on 25th June, 2013. ( NOC 2131). I have use consultant for this and consultant by sure has given his email for communication with CIC. Its almost 4 months but didnt get anything , Neither PER nor NER. I asked my consultant but he told me that what we can do is just wait. He told me that we cannot sent mail or phone them we just have to wait.
On 3rd of october, I mailed to CIO asking them about my status. I have included all the information of mine.
I just want to ask you all that if CIC replies to my mail, whom does CIC reply to? In my mail or to my consultant???
Just needed an answer from all you experienced member.
