Thanks Jigzyy & JohnnyZee for your replies. Your replies encouraged me and now I am keeping faith.

No matter when the forms were changed, but it was changed on 4th May or after 4th May, in both the cases, this should not be a candidate's fault.

Someone posted here Consultants comments that "It is not because of the format, but they have rejected the app, cuz it can be their "Audit objection" by accepting old form. In that case Why only forms Schedule 3 and Checklist should be of 05-2013 and why not other documents, Is it because they were uploaded after 4th May???? & this hurt Marta!

JohnnyZee said:
No, you are not out! It is only schedule 3, the checklist that need to be 05-13. The generic 0008 from 04-13 is pretty much the same as from 12-2012. Thy realised that they needed to change the footer to avoid confusion. And that change was made around 17-May.

Adrenalineforu, You are absolutely correct, agreed , can't win with them.

We can never win this war! Back then when my study visa was rejected, I opened a mail with NDVO and provided facts that could prove them wrong. But they use such a language (the language of the lawyers) in instructions and answers that you would never get over them. I had to drop. They simply are robotic and use pre-defined statements governed by their lawyers. In fact, with the system as large as CIC and operating at world level, they have dedicated law firms behind them who protects them and covers all the loop-holes and mistakes!

Now just read this statement below and find out what they will answer to it (in my own explanation).
"prospective candidates can go ahead and start the steps" and even if you provide a screenshot dated 18-Apr

CIC - Of course, prospective candidates should start before hand to make sure they fall within the cap but when did we say use the same forms as on 18-April. The above statement does not implies that. You should get ahead and start the steps; steps we said.

"prospective candidates can go ahead and start the steps" is NOT EQUAL to "prospective candidates can use the forms as on today"

At the end we are losers and they, winners.

Thanks Idoit, thats great, you have done a great job, this will help all, if they consider it .....

Alright, I called CIC and expressed all the complaints that people like Marta and many have about May 4 updated form. The lady understood and said she'll elevate the issue. This was one thing I felt I can do for others at least, though hopefully I'm not affected by this. :-\ I literally politely told them that the whole process is so messed up!

Think someone asked something like this before, and persons said it would not matter.......guys do you want to weigh in on this and help Husman

There is no correct answer to this question. I would say the inspecting officer will have to use his/her discretion. We can all speculate but in the end we could be way off the mark. My suggestion is that go with your gut feeling.

It's quite common. I guess this might not be the reason for rejection. Could be reason for a delay. As if I remember correctly, on the Background declaration form, they have specifically asked for the Mothers Birth Name instead of Current Name. But in the family information form, they have given no specific instruction and hence can be used her current name. So, they can verify / cross-check the reference. IF it goes through all stages, than local VO might ask for further clarification.

Replied on other thread

Write name as per passport

Marta's rejection was caused at the Stage 1 where they check completeness + correctness of the forms. At this stage, they won't be verifying names, cross checking the documents that have been provided. They will only check IF the documents are complete as mentioned + ticked on the checklist i.e., copies for copies, originals for originals and certified true copies for the translation and their originals, and all the correct forms are added, signed and dated and fields are filled regardless of what is filled or not.

At stage 2, the officers will calculate the points and stuff that has been provided and will evaluate job duties.

Rest of the things will be done, verified, corssed check at Local VO. They may demand further clarification or straight away reject on missleading information.

IF I am wrong, please correct me too :)

@Stranger Friendly,

Take it this way (but do not consider them an extract from Bible. This is how I understand)

FSWP 2013 applicable document list;
Requested Received Remarks
IMM5612 (05-2013)E IMM5612 (05-2013)E GOOD
IMM0008(04-2013)E IMM0008(04-2013)E GOOD
IMM0008DEP(07-2011)E IMM0008DEP(07-2011)E GOOD
IMM 5669(12-2012)E IMM 5669(12-2012)E GOOD
IMM0008(05-2013)E IMM0008(05-2013)E GOOD
IMM5406(04-2008)E IMM5406(04-2008)E GOOD
IMM5562(05-2004)E IMM5562(05-2004)E GOOD
IMM5804(07-2008)E IMM5804(07-2008)E GOOD
IMM5620(03-2013)E IMM5620(03-2013)E GOOD
IMM5476(04-2013) IMM5476(04-2013) GOOD

Now see this;
IMM0008(04-2013)E IMM0008(12-2012)E NOT GOOD

So what I and probably rest other would understand, do not go by dates (as if 05-2013) but the list of versions applicable in FSWP 2013. But only CIC could rock-confirm this.

I'm so sorry Marta to hear such news, but as other others said, you still can re-apply as it won't cost you more than another courier especially if you are applying from USA.
Since you have applied early I assume you have used the generic form imm0008 (12-2012), is this true? this might give us a hint if they accept this version of the form as they haven't indicated it in their letter.

reddevil7281, seems that forms and everything was ready and uploaded on 18th April, and then they started making changes into forms till 4th of May, and according to some friends even on 13th May and then on 17th May as well. This is something very disturbing.

People should highlight this issue to CIC, I know that no one can win from them, but if they are doing it to save them from their audit objection, then our raised issues may attract the auditors as well. 8) :P

This is the full statement that I saw on the site since I started checking in April:

IMPORTANT NOTE: CIC will update application kits and web materials before the new FSWP is launched on May 4, 2013. Prospective applicants who wish to get a head start on their application can proceed with the steps and information outlined above but should check the CIC website for new FSWP application forms.

Yes, it does sat that "CIC will update application kits and web materials before the new FSWP is launched on May 4, 2013" any they should have definitely updated the forms in advance but we can't really do anything about it.
