Why is everyone specific about 'received by R Mehmood'... what difference does it make?

mailed documents on feb 2nd , delivered @ CPC mississuaga on 4th of feb 2016 (offcourse signed by R Mehmood ;D) . Any clue how long does it take to get AOR ? and once you receive that how long for SA?

Slow down lol. Give yourself 2 months to hear something from CIC. My application was received on Feb 8, so I keep telling myself March ending or early April, that way I don't drive myself insane with worry

Too bad...I read so many negative feedback about Canada post so I used Purolator. Hope your application gets there safe.

Looks like my application won't be delivered today - seems Canada Post sent it to the wrong location (Toronto instead of Mississauga).

I do not have words to express how disappointed I am at the moment with this "mix-up". However, there is nothing that I can do at the moment and they changed the expected delivery date for Feb. 15th (Family Day in Ontario), so I am thinking it will be there on the 16th instead.

So sorry to hear about your application. I also sent my application via Canada Post,they sent it through Xpresspost cause it takes 6 days for the regular mail,and I want it to be received right away. So it arrived in Missauga after 3 days.

My application was received on January 8th,and I still got nothing from CIC.
25 more days before I can hear something from them ;D

Same here! I sent mine on the 8th of January! I am patiently waiting and everytime an email icon pops up I am hoping it is from them...but then always realizing it will be about another month until I hear something!

I know what you mean. I don't normally check my email but when I sent my application I started checking it everyday. I just want this waiting game to be over

This happened to me as well. I sent it on Sept 28, it was routed incorrectly and didn't get to CIC until Oct 2. I sent via Xpresspost and so I requested a refund from Canada Post. I received a full refund. I am sorry to hear this happened to you. I completely understand what you are feeling.

This happened to me as well. I sent it on Sept 28, it was routed incorrectly and didn't get to CIC until Oct 2. I sent via Xpresspost and so I requested a refund from Canada Post. I received a full refund. I am sorry to hear this happened to you. I completely understand what you are feeling.

I also sent it via Xpresspost - in the process of requesting a refund as we speak (even if they did not deliver it yet, figured it would take them some time to create the ticket and by the time they review it - they should have delivered it by then). Sorry you also had to displeasure of dealing with this as well.

Delivered through Xpresspost on Friday Jan 29, 2016, and they received it on Monday Feb 1, 2016. If I am correct, Xpresspost is operated by canada post right?

Anyways mine was received by Mohamed ;D
