yes, my husband applied Feb 23, 3016 and we are still waiting.
Yesterday CIC sent him a request for Re-Medical. So lets hope the wait will have an end soon

Guys a question,

If the sponsor got an email that he is not eligible to sponsor his partner because he was out of canada while the application is in process, but they send the application to Romania for another and final decision, is it possible that the other officer might change the decision, as i know that when the other officer received the application he doesn't know that the first officer reviewed and give his decision?

Please guys i need someone who knows about this.

As a PR you are required to reside in Canada while your app is processed. Anything other than a 2 or 3 week vacation outside Canada will result in a refusal.

You could withdraw your application go back to Canada and resubmit or simply wait for the refusal and then go back to Canada and reapply.

I am also still waiting for my husband. You can spend them an email and ask them where you are in the process. My husband is still undergoing a background check....

That's very strange that they kept your file in process for so long even after medical. Looking at the profile of AG317 above, PPR was 10 days after Medical.

Hi All,

I am a dependant living in UAE and my Primary Applicant is in India,
I planned to take my spouse from India to UAE under Residence Visa,
The visa work was nearing completion and we had bought a ticket for her to visit the UAE on November 1st week she saw in the tracker COPR number created, GCkey has no updates, and the expiration date is April 2024.
The primary visa office is in Ottawa, while the subsidiary office is in New Delhi.
I checked with VFS Global in the UAE, and they stated she may submit her passport anywhere.
So our issue is whether she can fly to the UAE, and if informing the IRCC would cause any delays in the procedure.
She has no prior travel history outside of India, and we need to notify the IRCC once she arrives, and what is the protocol for doing so and updating the address?
