My husband and I thought we would receive PPR on November, we never expect it before. We felt our case moved faster when we started applying for GCMS notes.
Maybe it was because of the GCMS notes or because our case didn't have any red flags or because Bogota VO has a few cases (12 cases that I know of from July 2015-August 2016, 7 have received their PPR).
I'm glad I was able to help you in a way. Ask for the GCMS notes, they help a lot to keep yourself and your spouse sane. It gives you a brief idea of what is going on with your case. By the way, just wondering, which one is your VO? Good luck!
Our VO is Ankara. It definitely does not fall under the slow ones, but one never knows. I ll order the notes for sure. Would you have any idea on the below question that i posted
I recently created the account in MYCIC and today i got an email - Your applicaiton has been updated please sign in and see the status and message. But i do not see any change/new message it is same as before? I have scrolled all the way down and clicked on all the possible places... Any idea???

Did you just created it? They send a message when you link your application to my cic account. If not, are all assessments the same as before? Sometimes they send that whenever they open your account, if this is the you could receive a message soon from your VO.

Sorry i should have been more precise, I created the account on 22nd Aug and then i got an email which was nothing but a notification. Today i got another email, so i am assuming that what you said above should have been the case that they just opened the file and thats about it, since there is no change in the status and any message either. Nevertheless, they opening the file also is not a bad sign either at least they touched it again!!!

Hey Guys, did you notice/discuss already that the country specific application processing time feature is back again and is showing almost the same time line as it was showing in 2015? What should we make of this now?

Hi

The country specific time line hasn't left since it replaced the one general process time and Indonesia timeline has gone down since then.. don't know about your country though.

I do not know why i was under the impression that it has been put off. Well for my country and another three countries that i keep a close eye on have not seen any change in the time line:(, though through this forum i came to know that the processing has been much faster than the time line mentioned in the site. So, it may be as they say depends from case to case!

It's also gone down for Poland. From 13 months to 11 months now.

-Other 4 pictures (first batch did not have all the requirements)

Thank you so much JJ, just one question that Background check receipt, is this equivalent of a Police Clearance Certificate? You requested Notes too, in the very first notes that you requested did it give you the clue that they have started to work on your relationship check? I am asking this because if your answer is yes, then the general perception - they put the file on hold if you did not provide the PCC or other important documents would be wrong unless it's just that after july 13 they processed your file super fast.
Our time line is almost same and i am trying to draw a parallel between yours n mine( i know it's may not be right to do as it depends on so many factors but....). The only difference between yours n ours is that your doc request came like 3 months later and ours came 23 days later. Have a look.

Yeah, the background check receipt is the equivalent for Police Clearance Certificate.
On our first set of notes seemed as if they had only opened the file to send us the notes. It had no assessments, except for medical exams which said "in progress" and on Notes it only had written down the refused TRV application. They processed our file extremely fast, just took them a month and something days. In fact, my husband and I are sort of eager to see what the second set of notes say, they are supposed to arrived on Sept 2 :p
I notice on your timeline that you sent the requested documents 3 months later, did they bother you with that?

Thanks JJ. They gave us intially 2 months and we soon realised that we won't be able to respect that as we had to get the PCCs from multiple countries, hence we requested them for an extension and they gave us additional 1 month. So yeah we have nobody to blame but us or the situation that we had to get it from 3 countries and unfortunately for us one has to physically travel in 2 of those to get.
Yes, the second set of notes will throw more light, but it seems that despite absence of section A and PCC they kept on processing your file for relationship and background assessment.
Well, it's been exactly 1 month today that we submitted the additional docs.. let's us see :(
