Hi abscott

You must put first the 6 years of elementary school and then 3 years of junior high!

You can always try sending case specific inquiry. I sent one to London and they actually answered in few days time. The message they sent wasn't too informative, but at least they answered! :D

Hi GodisFin

London is a different story. Not Vienna!
All the messages I sent so far were with the case specific inquiry option. None were answere except of the automated reply...

Hi Tom!

How are you doing?! And how is your wife? How long she has left on the pregnancy? I hope everything is fine!

I think it's not fair that they don't answer to people's inquiries. We don't know enough of our file in the first place and then they don't even bother to answer when questioned. Horrible!!!! Is Vienna in the strike also? London is being VERY slow at the moment because of it.. so frustrating!!

All the best for you!!! :)

Thanks Tom...

Could a sponsor file an application for two principal applicants, like in our case, myself and my 23 y/o son because he's out of the 3 types of dependents? I'm just curious if it is possible?

Thanks again...

Hi Godisfin

No Vienna is not participating in the strike! Thank God! Don't they ever understand that there are people behind those stocks of applications? I do respect that they will eventually review our files even if it is after months. But why don't they respond in sending at least an AOR.
My wife is better now (although can't say 100%....but better) We are going to have a baby girl (it's what we wanted from the beginning :D ) She is due to have it at the end of September. So far so good!
How are you keeping up. Any summer vacation coming up? We are pretty good into major heat waves here in Greece but we are lucky of having nearby beaches to take a dip and cool off.

Keep your hopes up. Every morning I wake up and say to my self maybe today will be the day! In the evening I say...Oh well....maybe tomorrow! And thus the days pass!

My best regards

Tom

Hi abscott

Sorry my experience does not include dependents. Maybe you can re post your query in the main family sponsorship thread. I am sure many people have had similar apps to give you advice!

Any idea what offices are on strike?
Main CIC web site doesnt list the ones affected ((
thanks

A baby girl!! That's awesome! Congrats! :)

I'm doing fine... we are organizing a small wedding celebration to our friends and Canadian relatives, so it has been keeping me busy. I'm just really frustrated with this strike situation. I was hoping to have my application completed by August but I don't think that's going to happen now. Oh well... all I have is time, right? :-\

Let's keep the hopes high... our day will come!! :)

Hello,

I thought I would share some news I received yesterday.

I mentioned a few weeks ago that my wife got a call From the cuban embassy asking if I had paid the landing fees. I called citizen & immigration yesterday and they told me that they have now received it.( That was great to hear). So I decided to email Havana immigration yesterday morning as well. They responded 2hours later and stated this to me.

Dear Sir

Your case has been reviewed and it should be soon finalised.

Yours sincerely

So I called my rep and she said to me that she wouldn't be surprised if they called my wife to give her the visa in the next few days.
What a feeling it has been in the last day.
My wife and I are excited and very happy now that we are at this stage.

Good luck to everyone whaling for their loved ones.

Hello Brooksee

These are indeed good news amigo!
I wish that your VO calls your wife with the news soon.
As for the most of us the only thing we can do is wait and pray that our VO's will get back to us with similar news.

All the best and hope the next time you write in this thread it will be with the good news

Thank you so much! It's a great blessing considering that I am 57 and I will get to pamper a little baby again. A new contract with life!
