Hey everyone..

There have been no changes for me at all since my files have been transferred to Cairo (which by the way is shut down temporarily due to he protests that have been going on... Just an FYI for all those who didn't know :() ...

Guess I will have to patiently wait and ..probably get some treatment for the paranoia/panic attacks and OCD that I am diagnosing my self with since I have sent in the apps ..

How's it going for everyone else?

Kuudir2

Hello dear Kuudir2 , How are you
Nope no change for us here so far!Vienna although not taking part in the strike is not even answering the simplest of emails.
I see the news about Cairo and i pray to God that this time it will end peacefully so people may go on with their lives!
And also for the embassy there to start working 4u

Regards
Tom

Hi all, checking in!! Just got back from my last visit to Canada before my permanent visit at the end of the month. I have gotten all of my essentials up there, last trip is me, my son, the cat our clothes, and some last second odds and ends. The tough part is done!! Now I pray that they get to the February applicants soon. It appears they are close to finishing up December applicants at CPP-Ottawa and should move into the January applicants any day. I just pray we are able to land before Christmas so that I can travel freely over the holiday season!!

How is everyone else holding up? I see a few people have gotten their PR already, CONGRATS!!!! How about the rest of you? oes everyone till have their sanity? lol

Hello Buffy2323 and welcome back. Nice to see you friend

Unfortunately most of us are on a stand still with no news whatsoever. Partly from the strike, Partly that many of us are dealing with VO's who are not replying even to a simple email.
Good to hear that maybe Ottawa will soon start dealing with you guys. I been praying to hear any good news from anyone here in February thread.
Couple of our friends who applied in Feb to Paris have already got their COPR's. Amazing how fast Pasris processed them. less than 4 months

I hope your settling goes uneventful to the end my friend!
Keep in touch!

Delhi has now moved at a snails pace due to the strike. No new PR's in a few weeks, but the good news is (and I always want to look at the positives) is that they have issued 5 PR's for January 2012 group (we are feb). I can't imagine how backed up they are going to be once they resolve this strike. Maybe it will mean they move at lightning speed to catch up. Plus marriage season hits India in the next month so a whole new slew of applications will be received. I can't imagine what their office looks like. In my mind they are literally buried under paper! It certainly feels that way to me....

Dear anskuhh & Keratzlaff,

Please make sure to check your email regularly as i just discovered i had my PPR in my inbox for 3 days before noticing it.

I have my email coming straight through to my cell phone and for whatever reason this email did not show. If i had not been checking my email via computer for another reason i would never have seen it and it is a TIME SENSITIVE email. It even states that if they do not receive the copies of my passport pages by August 1st that my application could be denied.

Just wanted to give you a heads up thats all. :)

P.S

MESSENGER could you add PPR July 3rd to my name on the spreadsheet? Pretty please with sugar on top? (hehe my little brothers and i use to say that all the time to our mum when we wanted something.)

I hope we can ALL get speedy COPR's. This strike is really stressing me out even though CPP-O seems to be moving with a little speed. I'm just ready to be done and start a job and my normal life. I haven't even quit my job here in the states yet and I'm ALREADY going stir crazy. lol

That's the standard MO for VOs - they usually won't respond to requests for status updates until the application is actually in process. If there's a problem that you identify in the application or in a communication they've sent you, they might respond, but otherwise you can expect no response.

Sigh called CIC call center, and there is no way they can provide foreign office AORs.
Were nice but unable to help~
Only way is to put a Case Specific Inquiry, but I bet they wont answer until 10 months pass...
Hoping for this torture to resolve soon with good results...

Ηι Denis

They don't even answer on change of status like passport change or pregnancy. I informed them on both and ZIP- NADA
It's pointless to send any sort of emails to Vienna.

You can always try sending case specific inquiry. I sent one to London and they actually answered in few days time. The message they sent wasn't too informative, but at least they answered! :D

I meant working on jan 2013 applicants. Geesh they would be really behind if it was 2012!
