He is the sponsor right?

He is a citizen in Canada already. He came from England.Yes he is the sponsor. We don't know what to put in the IMM 5540 Sponsor Questionnaire Question No. 9

What Canadian visa office issued your immigrant visa or confirmation of permanent residence?

He became permanent resident 2008.

Please help us.

What I put in the form tentatively is Citizenship and Immigration Canada Office- Toronto

Are we right? If not please help us what to answer here...

It has been a while since I have posted here and wanted to say hello to everyone still "patiently" waiting! In the last few months I have found a fantastic job in my hometown, bought a car, bought a house and registered my children in daycare. So it has been overwhelming and thankfully never gave me a lot of time to think about this whole process.
But now I have started to think about it again. Now that we are settled, having my husband here means that much more! The somewhat good news is, New Delhi has started working on January 2013 applications and 4 people from 2013 have been issued their PR's. Not great but it's something. We are a Feb 2013 applicant, so hoping it will be just a matter of months. In my mind I am hoping for September, which is still under the 10 months ND is saying it will take. So who knows....
Now let's just hope they can settle this strike business, as it is kicking us ALL in the behind!!

Hi Skas!!

That all sounds great and if they are already working on January 2013 then you are due very soon!! I know this strike is slowing things down a little bit, but we will get there!!!! London is also in a strike, so we are in the same boat.

Oh, and we also bought a house just few days ago! Now I just want that PR in hand so I can start looking for a job and pay that house.

Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the long weekend! Well...those of you in Canada

*le sigh* I hate waiting hehe When they asked for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee a couple weeks ago, I got hopeful that we were nearing the end and have been checking the status online every day haha I'm bored of waiting : I hate that they don't update the status at every point. They haven't updated ours since the day they received it. What's the point of even having that feature on the site if they don't use it? *bahumbug!*

OzinOn as your visa is getting processed in Sydney i decided i may as well check my visa status as i have not been on for a week or so ( cause everytime i check i get disappointed haha) and what do you know our visa is also In process as of June 26th !! So thankful to God that Sydney is not on strike!! now I wonder how long this next part will take.......praying not 10 months!!!

So glad to hear of someone else having some luck with stage 2... and the sydney office too!! I know what you mean with that relieving feeling of knowing Sydney is not striking, i panicked for a while there, and i truly do feel for all those applicants whose wait may be prolonged because of this strike, do they not understand that they are dealing with people's lives with these applications?

We should keep in touch regarding our applications... it would be very interesting to see this all fold out as we have incredibly similar timelines, almost to the day in fact! lol

Ive been looking at other Sydney applicants who have gotten stage 2 AOR and within a month have received their COPR! So lets keep our fingers and toes crossed that our frustrations will soon be over....At the very least we can take comfort in knowing that SYD VO is very good about updating our ecas status so we are always in the loop... as i have noticed many other offices dont take the time to keep ecas up to date..

Hey everyone..

There have been no changes for me at all since my files have been transferred to Cairo (which by the way is shut down temporarily due to he protests that have been going on... Just an FYI for all those who didn't know ) ...

Guess I will have to patiently wait and ..probably get some treatment for the paranoia/panic attacks and OCD that I am diagnosing my self with since I have sent in the apps ..
