Hi Dear Skas

have just done it. :) :)

She is much better thank God. Just the regular things now that most pregies have! Morning sickness etc. She is still on doctors leave though. She will have to go back to work eventually but we hope it will be for just a while if our apps get approved quickly then we are out to move to Canada asap..

Have a nice day
Tom

Only the sponsor pays RPRF (not the spouse who is sponsoring). I also didn't pay for my unaccompanying child. I forget what I paid for my minor child but it asn't the full $490. I'm sure someone can tell you exactly how much to pay but I can tell you that you DON'T have to pay for those two.

My husband is okay. He is would prefer the interview in his first language. That is his only concern.

What language will they conduct it in? Have you gotten a date for the interview yet?

My husband is very sweet and calm. He told me not to worry and he can handle everything.
He just told me he will not worry about language either, he can get around in a few languages.
He is calm personality. It helps a lot. :)

It sounds like he is a very calm and patient man. Hopefully it will go quickly and he will have his PR status ASAP. Good luck to you both. :)

he can ask for a translator for the interview. In the forms, there is a space where it was asked for the application. If they didn't offer a translator, he can write and ask about one, and specify which language he would want.
Good luck for the interview!

When is the interview Judy? Sending good positive thoughts. Your husband will do amazing! :D

Yes, this is the reason. More proof the relationship is genuine. There is an age difference,
so this might be the problem. Maybe I did not submit the best application.
I am not an organized person. My husband is, I'm not.
I feel bad; maybe I left things out or could have written my answers better.

Any suggestions, links, previous experiences / on how to prepare?
Also, I asked my husband if I should fly over for interview with him.
I don't know if that is even possible. Financially for one thing, very difficult.
Don't know if I could get Visa in time to enter his country - many requirements.
I look after my aged mother who has many problems, it is difficult to leave her
for extended periods. I wrote that in our application.
The letter says spouse (me) not required, but if I do attend with him they may
interview me to. I don't mind being interviewed, but above situations make it very
difficult.
:(

Hi JudyO

Here is a link to interview questions... it is older but could be helpful :)

All the best

Hi Sweden...Please help me...We will submit our application this May in Mississauga and my husband is planning to come down here again this coming June. Is it alright if he comes down or he should wait for a month or until he is notified by the embassy about the status of his application as a sponsor before he come down here in the Philippines?

We don't know if we need to notify the embassy that he will come down for a moth to stay with us, he will get visa to stay here anyway for a month and will comeback again later this year until we get the visa.

Please advise us on what to do in case he isn't suppose to leave Canada after we submit our application...Or if it's okay for him to leave for a visit to us, what are the things that we should do and remember...

Thanks a lot for all the advices we will get from all of you...

hey, can someone update my info in the spreadsheet? I got my AOR from Beijing VO on April 25th and visa request the same day.

Thanks!
