I'm not sure. When I log into ecas it just says they received the sponsor app and the applicant app. But nothing else...

I have a question with regards to ecas updates. I noticed the address information has changed when I login but I do not see any status with respect to the spousal application (i can see the status of my citizenship app which has been in process for a while). Does it take a while for the status to come up? I have my AOR already

it takes a while to update indeed, and if you had previous dealings with CIC, they might not have uploaded the actual details of your application now, but ecas still works because you have an UCI from your previous application.
Try login in as the applicant: with the File number (starting with F) + applicant details, and see what comes up... UCI is attached to you with all your dealings with CIC, but the file number is only for the PR application, so if it's updated, you should be able to see it there. IF your file number + applicant details doesn't work, it's probably because it's not updated yet - give it a few days.

It usually updates at the end of Wednesday or early Thursday morning, so it should be there soon!

Actually last night me and my mate went to see a live theater play "Educating Rita" here in my home city and after the show around 11:30 pm we passed outside of one of the city's famous sweet shops (Here in Greece the quality of deserts is second to none) and we saw from the window how they were preparing the stuff. Although my mate is pregnant I was the one who actually initiated the quest to buy the sweets.

Hey guys, I'm about to send off our application package today so I can officially be part of this thread. Just wondering if there's any suggestion on which service we shall use to send the package in to CPC-M. Did you use Canada post, UPS or FedEx? Any preference?

I sent my application from outside Canada so I can't really help too much but I think Express post in Canada is pretty good. It should have next day delivery and you can track it. I would use that.

I sent mine next day canada post with signature...it got there 3 days later with no.signature and I still got my aor so it works fine!

Let me know if you want to be added to the spreadsheet!
