Okay question for those who got AOR alredy. Do they send it to the email address of the sponsor or the applicant? We each put an email address down so I want to be sure I know who should be doing the checking!!

From everything I have read it is sent to the sponsor. I think the principal applicant is only contacted if they require passports or extra documents, and maybe to set up the interview, though anyone else please correct me if I am wrong.

And Messenger, good news on the baby. A life changing event for sure! Hope you get good news about your applications!

They contact the sponsor up until sponsor approval and after that all correspondence is through the applicant if you get any at all. I've heard the vo's are pretty lame when it comes to aor' s there!

Also anskuhh you are updated!! Congrats on the sa! Updated! Second blue line on the spreadsheet!

The first stage approval is updated every week on wednesdays, but second stage is updated 4 times a year... as it takes way more time to calculate ( for stage 2 they are based on the numbers of apps processed in the last 12 months, where stage 1 is more immediate, since there is no calculation about the last 12 months etc).
Remember : the stated time on the website is not an average - it's the time to take a VO to process 80% of the applications... So if Ottawa is 13 months, it means that after 3 months they probably process already 20% of the applications, etc...

Seriously? That's awesome news, yay, i'm even more excited now lol The website says processing time for Sydney is same as London's, but let's hope it won't take 9 months!

It'll only take 9 months if you have some questions that are raised. If its straightforward you could technically have pr in as soon as 4 months! Let's all hope (myself included!!)
