Hi guys,
Hope every one is doing good. I want some suggestion if you guys can provide. how you guys are sending the photo, labeling at the back with the ceremony name, the person involve and date or putting a yellow sticky at front of the photo and then writing the matter. Please help.

What I did was, I organized all my pictures in a Word document and either under or one side of the picture I provided all the information needed (who in the picture, location, date, who took the picture). Then I printed out all the sheets.
I've heard people doing the first option you mentioned: writing all needed information in the backside of the picture and sending those pictures loose in an envelope.

Hopefully this helps! :)

Oh really! I've been thinking ecas is not updating... I better start checking it more often then! :D
Did you go in process or straight to "decision made"? All I see in my ecas is "application received".

Ours went straight from "application received" to "decision made". I didn't think ecas was updating, but I always impulsively check it and suddenly there it was. I screamed and had to get zardoz to double check it for me. I thought I was seeing things. lol

Hello Messenger,
Thanks for adding me to the spreadsheet, now we can easily keep track of our progress.
Best of luck to you all.

Just got home to find my mailbox jammed full with a big brown envelope! Thankyou Immigration gods for smiling down on me today! Nothing makes a Friday even better than getting your COPR!!!!

Apparently if you are already in Canada you have the option of arranging a meeting at your local immigration office (mine is half an hr away) and complete the landing process there, so you dont have to cross the border to do it. After calling the CIC hotline though, i found out the wait time for an appointment is over 1 month and they still advise people to flagpole at the border.

So this sunday i will be Port Huron, MI bound to land as a brand new permanent resident! YAY!!!

To all that are still waiting, dont despair! I felt like the wait was never going to end and then out of the blue the COPR turned up! :)

Best of luck to all!!

Dear Boss Messenger,

Look at this link and tell me your thoughts because right now I am not on a stable mental condition and I am in RAGE right now. So unfair...

Hi folks,

I'm sorry to break some very bad news for all of us waiting for our spouses and their passports/visas... if you thought these delays were bad, it gets worse. Effective Monday, July 29th PAFSO has threatened to cancel ALL services in 15 largest visa centres abroad. They are doing this to pressure the govt into using arbitration as the only way to resolve the strike.

"Effective Monday, in order to persuade the government that binding arbitration remains the responsible way forward to resolve our dispute, PAFSO members will withdraw all services until further notice at Canada's fifteen largest visa processing centres abroad," PAFSO said in a statement.

Front page breaking news on CBC:

It sickens me to see the sense of entitlement from this group of Federal employees. They already take over 125% more sick days than those in the private sector, not to mention other perks. They should be happy they even have a job. It's clear they are not fit for these jobs. Time to start over, and find people more capable of coming to work everyday.

Good news! Sydney has started processing my application, in process since 24th yay I'm so happy! So what can I expect now, ppr, interview etc?

Dear Kazuma.

Some things are plainly out of our hands. Like every work movement this too will be eventually dissolved soon no doubt about it amigo. Just keep your hopes up and soon this will only be a bad memory. You can count on this!

I just received my COPR from Sydney. In process on 26th June, PPR on 2nd July, Decision made on 19th July, Received COPR in the mail on 26th July.

You should be getting a PPR email shortly. It should ask you for a copy of EVERY page in your passport to be mailed directly to them. it says to allow them 5-10 working days to process the final stages of paperwork and then they issue the COPR (of course permitting there are no problems)!!

Good luck! Hope this helps!
