Do you have an idea in what time frame the Visa will be stamped ?
Any reasons it could still be rejected ?
Fantastic. Stamping can take anywhere between one and four weeks from what I know.

No, it is extremely unlikely to be rejected after this.

I suppose you can revive this thread -->

Congrats :). I've noticed that FSW are getting their visas faster than PNP applicants ( just my opinion)

PNPs go through extra checks, during the MEC stage IRCC will check with the province or territory if they are still eligible so it does take longer.... After that all the other checks are the same.

The though of PNP taking less time because they have already gone though a check by the province seems to be a myth... unfortunately!

Hi, is there any source of your said finding... i think both things r right. Your no 1 is right that they cross check with province but after this step there is no point of doing background check as the has already been done diligently by the provincial nomination officer... because even ppl having pnp r getting ppr within 4-6 months...

Congratulation Ronnie... best of luck for future..

Sure, everything is on a silver platter.
You should do your own research. There's no such kind of list and no one is going to find the right employer that will definitely hire you.
Except the HR agencies, but they are to get money for this.

Well... posts throughout the forum I suppose. Unfortunately IRCC/CIC don't divulge exactly what goes one with the BC checking process, so it's all based around what various people have picked up reading GCMS notes I guess.

There is some official documentation of the checks such as the A11.2 - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/refuse.asp - here you can see that there is an extra step for PNP applicants.

As far as background checking goes, the provinces/territory (PT) don't perform any security ou criminal checks, so all applicants are treated the same in this respect. I guess that only stage where IRCC could skip the check is that employment and experience verification, but nowhere do they mention that PNP will receive lighter checks in this respect or will be exempt as the PT has already done that. In fact when you see GCMS notes from FSW and PNP you'll see similar comments for these checks suggesting that they are done to the same extent.

On one hand it makes sense for IRCC to simply accept what the PT has done before hand, on the other they are responsible for checking everything that the candidate is claiming points on regardless of what checks the PT has done before.

From this my only conclusion is that PNP candidates go though the SAME checks as the other candidates with the extra PT eligibility check. I would love to see some evidence that contradicts this, as I'm a PNP candidate and would like to think I'll have an easier time that the rest, but at the moment I'm thinking that's not the case.

AFAIK, you should report changes or communicate further with the VVO using through CSE.

Thank you once again Raj!!!

So, now that I know my case has been transferd to LVO (actually VVO), have my chances of getting the PPR improved?
