Okkk... Lets put this discussion to rest...

I guess what Julien wants to say is - it isnt on a paper/letterhead that cannot be faked.
Meaning it has a heading/logo etc, but nothing that we cannot do it in Microsoft word. Nothing that cannot be easily faked. He is right there - it looks unprofessional.

But if the question is - whether it will be acceptable or not, the answer is - it is acceptable if backed by docs, many have done it!

For sure, you never can predict what Trump will implement next, i have no status here any longer and honestly i'm kind of freaking out. Won't be flying anytime soon for sure

Maybe there's a surge of applications right after Trump's election creating the current backlog for US applicants?
I see it takes as few as 2 months to get their PPR if they are from certain countries like France.

Would they have had time to take IELTS, get ECAs, etc though? I don't think so.

I'll say this. Many of my friends (most of whom are social scientists like me) are more determined than ever to stay and fight. So am I, honestly. I just feel that I can't obey laws passed by that man or use my tax dollars to support a reality TV star in the White House, so I'm fighting from somewhere else. Canada's response over the last few days had made me feel pretty proud and secure in my choice.

And I have had meds passed, RPRF request, and background check IP. Just not sure it actually means anything- I should be getting a Schedule A request and haven't yet. I did explain my answer to the statutory question thoroughly in the LOE, but I was under the impression that answering yes to any of the statutory questions meant a Schedule A would be required.
