    December eAPR - US applicants

Nope, we just have to send photocopies, 2 current photos, an Annex form, and a prepaid envelope. They specifically say not to send the actual passport if you are a U.S. Citizen. I used Fedex- it was pretty easy once I explained what I needed.

    December eAPR - US applicants

I posted in the other December thread, but I thought I'd post it here too. I got my PPR on Friday, so maybe things are moving for the US applicants. Now I have to figure out all of this photo nonsense. Apparently you can't just go to Walgreens or CVS like for passport photos, since the sizing...

Express Entry - e-APR submitted in December 2016

Thanks Everyone! I'll share the timeline info below. I don't have exact dates for much of it (just a progression) because I was trying to only let myself sign in every 4-5 days. FWS-O, US Citizen & Resident AOR: December 2nd, 2016 Meds Passed: Sometime between the third week of December and...

Hi Everyone, Woke this morning to see the PPR email in my inbox- its started for us!

    December eAPR - US applicants

Yep! AOR was December 2nd. I'm not sure when exactly meds passed (I've been trying really, really hard to only let myself login once every 4-5 days), but I got the RPRF request on January 17th and paid it on the 22nd. My background changed to IP the next day. No other changes since then.

    December eAPR - US applicants

Lol, "SHE". But everything else is correct. I'm outland, US Citizen, and in the US.

    December eAPR - US applicants

I'll say this. Many of my friends (most of whom are social scientists like me) are more determined than ever to stay and fight. So am I, honestly. I just feel that I can't obey laws passed by that man or use my tax dollars to support a reality TV star in the White House, so I'm fighting from...

    December eAPR - US applicants

Interesting. Where did this come from? That'd be quite a bit longer than the six month processing goal.

Express Entry - e-APR submitted in December 2016

Maybe they'll take mercy on us after the last few days! It might also be that they are just processing my application in sort of an odd order. I have already applied and gotten rejected once (system miscalculated CRS points)- I haven't gotten a Schedule A request yet, and I should need to fill...

Express Entry - e-APR submitted in December 2016

Yep, US Citizen and Resident- maybe its just easier to do the checks, etc. My background went right to in In Progress- its never had any of those other back and forth status changes.

Express Entry - e-APR submitted in December 2016

AOR December 2nd, meds passed Dec 23rd, RPRF fee requested January 17th, RPRF Paid January 22nd, and background changed to "In Progress" January 24th. Maybe our group is starting to move!

    December eAPR - US applicants

My timeline was similar. For on December 2nd, Meds cleared on January 6th, so about 35 days between AOR and meds "passed".

wrong dates of employment - EE profile

I had one date of employment wrong- I had put in my initial EE profile that I left a job in November of 2015, when in reality I left almost 2 weeks later, in early December of 2015. I was assured by others here that since it didn't have any impact on my score, I could just correct it in the...

Any Question on Express Entry---i will try to answer

Two questions: 1. I have all three of my reference letters, but one of them only gives the month/year of my employment (August 2014-November 2015) instead of an exact date. Is this going to be an issue? 2. I know they are very strict about gaps, and also about work experience, education, etc...

Express Entry Step by step instructions.

Hey Everyone- Just received ITA and I am working on the much dreaded personal history section. I know they are very strict about gaps, and also about work experience, education, etc synching up well ( it is nice that they auto-fill your work/education experience from those sections). My question...

Speeding Ticket in USA (Buffalo, New York)

Nah, it shouldn't matter. Laws are different for each state, but my advice is to just pay the fine. It'll be higher, since you were more than 10 mph over, but not quite at 30. It's almost never worth it to actually fight the ticket, unless you have a US license and are already maxed out on point...

    FBI Background Check Processing Times

My experience (having gone through the process with the FBI twice now) is that it was 12-14 weeks from when I sent the request to when I got the final background check report. Granted, I'm in the US and sent it 1 day priority, so depending on your location I'd add in a little time for...

    NOC Code and Credential Requirements

Great, I'll go with 4169, which is what matches the lead duties best. It does say a Master's or PhD is "usually required". I guess I'll go with the consistency in lead duties as opposed to title/education and hope for the best!

Need Help. I have created EE profile four times and still ineligible

The not being able to count full time work while being a full time student makes sense, but I thought that you could count part-time work experience gained while a full time student, as long as the study and work did not take place in Canada? I did this in my EE profile (was working part time...

    NOC Code and Credential Requirements

Hi Everyone, I know NOC Code questions have been posted to death, so I apologize in advance. I have also emailed my question to the NOC email, but am afraid they won't get back to me in time for me to update my application before the next draw (if indeed there is one this Wednesday). I would...
