Just wanted to wake some people up! :p

No, I just chose a random number! :D

205 days is not correct info... But the fact, is - no one knows the exact answer. USA people, normally ahve waited between 4 to 8 months.

But here, for the first time - there have been cases with 50 days and not even medical passed - chances r that 205 days may end up being the fact!

It may actually take 10 months for us they way they r progressing....

Please call 1-613-944-4000 from the US

NO VOIP Just Skype, sometimes the call center is overloaded, but once you get thru usually it's 15-20 minutes and you will speak with an agent.
I tried this number yesterday numerous times and got busy signals each time.

Guys one question. I submitted my FBI PCC request on Jan 17th and I expect it take 12 weeks to get the report best case. If anything goes wrong with finger prints, I might need to apply again. I got my ITA on Jan 25.

I learnt that CIC gives extensions (two 60 days) for submitting FBI PCC due to processing delays if one requests for it submitting the proof of submission along with the e-APR. My question is does one need to wait till the end to submit the application and request for extension. Or can I submit as soon as I have other documents along with LOE + proof of applying and submit PCC once I get it? Will it expedite processing in anyways or they will hold the application until the FBI PCC is received?

Answered in the other thread. There's really no need to post in both places; odds are the people who are looking at the other thread is also looking at this one.

I talked to BOA people! Visited 4 branches and then did the process at Washington DC branch where they were confident that this will be accepted by CIC and they have issued several certificates like that...

Besides, no, u cannot print it urself. It has to be prepared by the head office or something like that... Bank manager called and got it emailed to her right in front of me. So if a bank manager cannot print it - it is not available online for anyone to print.

Yes, it looks stupid unprofessional online printed webpage, agreed - but it will be accepted.

Since most of us have backed it with the statements, u should do the same...

Changing banks etc will actually be more work for u as well as for visa officer!

This is my personal belief...
Believe me, that letter can simply be printed from your online banking. You can request the letter to be mailed or sent to your online messaging in your line banking. I did it several time when I had to sponsor my parents to the US. The letter is easily accepted by USCIS.
That stupid letter can be either mailed to you or your bank branch, or sent electronically to your online banking messages where you can print it yourself, that's why your bank manager cannot print it himself, it's only sent to you.

I think what he meant by not possible printing through online banking is that you still need customer support to send you the letter with the average balance amount and sponsorship info. You simply cannot go statement section and print it out directly.

Exact, statements can only be printed without a request.
My point is that the BOA is a simple letter you can just print it yourself. It is not on letterhead or secured paper, not even signed or stamped, no contact info or even a phone number, no agent name etc. but it is widely accepted by USCIS.
It is very well known that USCIS has accepted forged/fake POF.

I just checked the letter that I got for my parents visa. It is definitely in black and white, but it is pretty much on a letterhead. They have their mailing info, phone number too. I am not sure what letter was given to you. And you cannot print the average balance letter from your online banking. You can just print monthly statements, and nothing more.

And with regards this being accepted for B2 visa.. bank letter is not a strict document requested by USCIS/DHS for B2 visa approval if the applicant has some immediate relatives (sons/daughters) as sponsors in US. They never even look at it even during interview. People just take it to be on safer side. It doesn't get submitted anywhere as a document and it is not even asked anywhere in DS160. POF for B2 visa is strictly verified for the applicant only if they don't have anyone sponsoring from US. Moreover, checking for something in a US bank is not a big deal for a federal agency.

Please don't consider this as an offensive counter arguments. I am just debating to find out right solution to sort this issue out!
