guys & gals,

what are the chances of AoRs not materialising into nominations? any post AOR rejections of which you are aware? reasons?

Don't know/heard about rejections of nominations. Rejection probability is quite less so far and expecting same for OCT2015 to APR2016 batch.

Friends: Today's topic was the draw and the prospects of NoM's.

The topic totally deviated to CEC/FSW. Every applicant irrespective of CEC/FSW, others have worked hard.
Let's hope all the eligible applicants get their NoM's / PR.

Just to add, for those of us who have received calls from Officers, we have access to their direct numbers. If you do want to give them a call, I would suggest calling back on that number, in case you haven't because chances are that the same Officer will eventually pick up your call. Calling the number provided on their website leads to more instances of leaving voice messages as opposed to getting a person on the line

Hi i am December 21 applicant, I got aor on 13 June, I was asked to send new dd which I sent very next day and got the old dd back within 3 days. But I didn't get any acknowledgement for that, there was no communication after that.
I just wanted to ask, is it normal? Should I call them or e mail them to ask for application status?
What is their number and email id?

Some applicants, who got their old DD’s after their new draft delivered, received their cover letter (if they had sent one) stamped acknowledging the new draft. Usually they don’t acknowledge drafts unless you contact them for an update on the same (like some Jan and Feb applicants got replies recently saying “OINP received your payment”), so there is nothing to worry.

If you had received a receipt along with your AOR although it was expired (yes, strangely, some got receipts on expired ones as well and were requested a new draft in another email from OINP), you may not get another receipt for the new draft as technically they cannot send you two receipts for one payment, in my opinion.

Regarding your application status, early December applicants are getting calls and/or additional document requests and some got emails indicating that their application is moved to decision phase. So you will be contacted in case they need more information to process your application.

If you need an update before that, you may write to them on ontarionominee@ontario.ca or ExpressEntry@ontario.ca. If you are going to call (416.327.0374) them, remember it takes many attempts to get through.

How can it be rest assured. AOR is just confirming the submission of all docs. The investigation happens after the AOR. Whatever happens is after AOR. If there is something wrong rejection will be there. IF you are sure everything is fine no need to worry.

i thought the immigrant vs citizen vs refugee fights i saw on other forums was bad, this one is taking the cake...

lets just keep our frustrations to ourselves and discuss more important matters at hand - the draws, future draws, and OINP nominations timeline... after all, thats why we are all here isnt it ??

I sent a follow up mail to Ontario 2 days ago and yesterday I received below feedback from them. This is the same feedback which I received in July.

"Dear Sir/Madam,

Please note that the file referenced below has not been finalized yet.

Processing is taking longer than usual due to the large number of applications in our inventory.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) appreciates your patience as it works diligently to process the high-volume of applications received.

You will be contacted should further information/documentation be required or once the decision will be made.

Please note that if you are in Canada, it is your responsibility to remain in legal status throughout the time while your application is being processed by our program.

Thank you for your interest in the OINP.

Make changes in the personal history of EE profile and send the changed information to OINP through email.

I understand that wait is taking toll but there's nothing much that can be done....However, if everything that we have put in the application is thoroughly supported by docs, it shouldn't be any problem. The ONLY and the BIGGEST problem is how much to rely on OINP as the time is flying fast and we are running out of options.

I reckon they regard outland applications as non time sensitive nor compelling
